MESSAGE<br />
On behalf of Munster Rugby, I would like<br />
to welcome you all to today’s Pinergy<br />
Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup Final<br />
between <strong>Presentation</strong> <strong>Brothers</strong> <strong>College</strong> and<br />
<strong>Christian</strong> <strong>Brothers</strong> <strong>College</strong> in Virgin Media<br />
Park. This is a repeat of last year’s final and<br />
<strong>Presentation</strong> <strong>Brothers</strong> <strong>College</strong> were victorious<br />
on that occasion. This year’s final is of added<br />
significance as both schools are the proud<br />
winners of 31 titles each to date.<br />
The Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup<br />
is one of our top competitions in age-grade<br />
rugby and has been contested for 115 seasons.<br />
It is eagerly anticipated by players, their<br />
families, coaches, supporters and past pupils<br />
of every participating school each season and<br />
it is one of the launchpads for our elite players<br />
and future interprovincial and international<br />
players.<br />
I wish to thank Enda Gunnell and his Pinergy<br />
team for the support and sponsorship of this<br />
competition. Their continued support and<br />
commitment is greatly appreciated.<br />
I would also like to thank Cathal Daly, the<br />
Schools Committee, along with James Neville,<br />
for organising and ensuring the completion of<br />
all schools fixtures.<br />
I am grateful to the Munster Association of<br />
Referees for their officiating at all schools<br />
games to date and I wish Andrew Brace, match<br />
referee, and touch judges Brían Bennett and<br />
Alex Aherne best wishes for today’s game.<br />
I would like to wish both teams the best of luck<br />
today and I am looking forward to an excellent<br />
