CLUB 66
BRONCO NATION
I am humbled and honored to be the head football coach at Western Michigan
University. Western Michigan is a place with great history and tradition. Three WMU
football teams have reached the pinnacle of the MAC, with the 1966 team achieving
that goal first. I am committed to building a championship program. We will have a
culture built on Championship Habits and Competitive Greatness. Our student-athletes
will always be our top priority, and we will work hard every day to provide them the
resources to develop at an elite level. We have identified three important areas of focus
that will give us a competitive advantage and help us realize our championship goals.
The student-athletes are our number one focus in all we do. To be champions, we
must be able to recruit the premier student-athletes in the MAC. Recruitment of
prospective student-athletes and transfers begins with identifying the right young
men who fit our program and making a positive impression on them. Once we have
identified, recruited and brought the right student-athletes to campus, we must
develop them. We must invest in proper nutrition, physical & mental growth,
recovery, and technologies that enhance the development opportunities for
our student-athletes. Finally, to help our coaches and student-athletes
prepare for success, we must provide our coaches with the finest tools
to teach our student-athletes, to make the best decisions during game
preparation, and to help with crucial & critical in-game decisions.
The formation of Club ’66, named after our first championship team, will help us
address these competitive advantages. By becoming a Club ’66 member, you will assist
in the recruitment and development of our student-athletes and play an integral role in
helping our student-athletes and coaches win championships!
Together, we will reign as champions of the Mid-American Conference! Go Broncos!

4 CLUB 66
Student-athletes are the lifeblood of our program. Great identification decreases roster turnover and leads to
success on the football field. Using available recruiting services and appropriately staffing our recruiting operations
will help improve evaluation of prospective student-athletes in both high school and the NCAA Transfer Portal.

SPORTS SCIENCE ADVANCES
Using the most up to date technologies assists in student-athlete growth.
GPS units also allow the staff to make sure workloads are appropriate,
reducing the risk of injuries from excessive work on the field.
