Herbs for everyday ailments<br />
› The speaker at the March meeting of the Garden<br />
Club will discuss how teas, poultices, and plasters<br />
can be used to relieve everyday ailments.<br />
Susan Hess is the owner of the Stillroom at Pines<br />
and the author of The Herbal Medicine Cookbook.<br />
Her address will be titled “Homestead Herbalism<br />
2.0: Topical Use of Plants.”<br />
The meeting will be held on Tue Mar 12 at the<br />
Lutheran Church. Refreshments and social at 12n;<br />
speaker at 12:30pm, followed by a business meeting.<br />
All are welcome and admission is free. Those<br />
attending are asked to bring a canned food item for<br />
the church’s food pantry.<br />
