The concept The various poems-in-images presented here belong to the type of poetry called Macropoetry. Macropoetry is an artistic concept having emerged during the 2010’s. It was/is an poetic movement born on internet and social media, most of all tumblr and instagram, based on poems written on digital photographies, a sort of a modern ut picturia poesis. Sometimes there is no writings, the poem is simply an assembly of various partially cut images, creating by themselves a poetic story/scene. If you want to explore macropoetry, you can read or buy the book “MACRO : An Anthology of Image Macros”, created by Michael Hessel- Mial and Penny Goring, and published by Boost House (2016). You will discover various artists working on that type of modern poetry (among the poems, you will find my macropoem “Metamodernist Pyramid”) You can read an interesting review of the book, here : https://thediagram.com/16_6/rev_macro.html
