April 19th and 20th Home and Garden Show Annual The City of Salem and Washington County Tourism Home and Garden Show Friday, April 19 • 5 to 8 p.m. | Saturday, April 20 • 9 a.m. to 12 noon | Approximately 30 Vendors. The Washington County Master Gardeners will have their Annual Tulip Walk on April 20 from 9 am to 3 pm. Along with the tulip scavenger hunt, there will be demonstrations along the walk. Some include; “Getting Started with Mushrooms - the Basics” and “From Table to Worms - Vermicomposting”. Kids will take home a kit. What kid doesn’t like garden worms? Another demonstration along the walk is “Planting a Pollenating Garden”. You will learn about native plants that attract Butterflies. Other demonstrations are being planned.
