MANDALAS<br />
Geometric shape experimentation<br />
I wanted to explore symmetry and pattern through shape. For this I decided to focus on mandala art, taking inspiration<br />
from the work of designer Y. Chernikov. I created these drawings using a compass, a ruler and a pencil which is the<br />
beauty in this kind of art, its simplicity in creating such complex, detailed designs. After completing the drawings, I used<br />
photoshop to turn them into repeating patterns which could be used for clothing or interior design such as curtains or a<br />
tablecloth. I always like to consider ways in which I could see my art being presented or used in the real world.
