The 105,000m 2 commercial shopping<br />
centre used two 1 MW traditional boilers<br />
to provide heating and hot water.<br />
Due to the high heating costs, the old boilers were<br />
replaced with four new <strong>ELCO</strong> TRIGON® XL condensing<br />
gas boilers in order to improve overall levels of energy<br />
efficiency.<br />

Dominik Szenderák, project leader, said: "Walking around the<br />
renovated boiler room, I was suprised to see how much space<br />
they were able to save with four boilers compared to the previous<br />
two. It also shows how compact these high-performance boilers<br />
are. In particular, I would like to point out that customers were also<br />
completely satisfied with the consumption."<br />

The <strong>ELCO</strong> solution<br />
The four new TRIGON® XL 500 boilers have<br />
enabled the entire shopping centre to reduce<br />
costs. They are properly stoned in a cascade<br />
system, which also helps to avoid unnecessary<br />
expenditure. The boilers were easily installed<br />
in an attic space, thanks to their modular<br />
construction, which also made the renovation<br />
more cost-effective.<br />
