Women’s art exhibit › In partnership with The Haddon Fortnightly, the High School’s 50/50 Club will present “Through a Woman’s Eyes,” an exhibit of works by femaleidentifying artists, at the Fortnightly Clubhouse (Kings Hwy E and Grove) on Sat Mar 2 from 11am. Proceeds will benefit Girls Learn International, an organization dedicated to furthering education equality. The 50/50 Club was recognized recently by First Book (the largest online community of educators serving kids in poverty) and Ashoka (the largest global network of leading social entrepreneurs). As a result, this art show will be showcased internationally. We have what her heart desires. ANY REASON ... ANY SEASON! Tennis for juniors › The Haddonfield Tennis Association will conduct two sixweek tennis programs for juniors (ages 6 to 13) on Sundays at the Wedgewood Swim Club and Tuesdays at the Erlton Swim Club. The programs will begin on Sun Mar 17 and Tue Mar 19 respectively. Participants are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. The cost of each program is $80. Class times are: • Sunday: Ages 6 to 9 – 3 to 4pm. Ages 10 to 13 – 4 to 5 pm. • Tuesday: Ages 6 to 9 – 4 to 5pm. Ages 10 to 13 – 5 to 6pm. The program is directed by Mitch Winkler. Mitch has been tennis director for the Haddonfield Tennis Association for over 20 years and was inducted into the Inaugural Class of the South Jersey Tennis Hall of Fame in 2021.
