Photography exhibit<br />
› “Down the Shore,” a display at the Markeim Arts<br />
Center of landscape photography by John Vlahakis,<br />
will run thru Thu Feb 29.<br />
A member of the Society of Media Photographers,<br />
John Vlahakis has pieces in museums and<br />
private collections worldwide. Since 2020, he has<br />
been working on two projects, “Enduring City”<br />
(landscapes of Athens, Greece) and “The Jersey<br />
Shore.” You can see some of his work – a public art<br />
installation – the next time you fly out of Terminal A<br />
at Newark International Airport.<br />
The Markeim Arts Center is located at the corner<br />
of Lincoln Ave and Walnut Street.<br />
