aren’t around..? Got two choices friends - sit idly home, 

or get out there and find another way to get after it. A new 

board always makes the latter a worthwhile, better choice.

KEY SUSTAINABLE INFORMATION 

As one the world’s largest manufacturers of premium skateboards, 

we clearly use a significant amount of wood in our production. In order to offset 

the timber we use to construct our skateboards, our goal is to engage in 

forestry efforts that replace far more than we consume. To that effect, we have 

partnered with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) to donate to their treeplanting 

program. Our ongoing donations to the NFF plant at least 3 times 

the amount of trees we harvest annually in the making of our skateboards. 

We continue to bring more sustainably sourced materials to our skateboards 

line, while still ensuring that durability and skate function are driving 

our design process. We’re far from perfect, but trying to move forward 

one step at a time. Some of our sustainable materials include: 

BAMBOO CONSTRUCTION 

The fastest growing “tree” on earth, 

bamboo is harder and a little stiffer 

than hard rock maple. The harvesting 

process doesn’t require replanting and 

crops mature many times over in the 

span it takes maple trees to grow. 

SUPER-SAP ® RESIN 

USDA certified biobased resin made with recycled industrial 

waste-stream components and renewable raw materials. 

Backed by hard data, Entropy Resins reduce energy 

use, emissions, and environmental impact during their 

manufacturing process. Super Sap replaces petroleumbased 

raw materials without sacrificing performance. 

ALGAE FOAM TAILPADS 

BloomTM transforms air and water pollution 

into a renewable composite material. 

By harvesting algae from contaminated 

waters, BLOOM creates a petroleum 

free and renewable materiall that we are 

able to use in place of virgin materials 

in the construction of our tailpads. 

COCONUT CONSTRUCTION 

The natural coconut fibers on the surface of 

our boards allow us to use less maple wood 

and turn a waste stream material into valuable 

face plys. Coconuts are readily available, 

the husk requires minimal processing and 

they come from self-sustaining crops. 

RECYCLED RUBBER GRIP 

What happens to worn out shoes and car tires at the end 

of their lifecycle? In most cases, they become landfill, 

never really breaking down, destined to sit in a pile 

on this earth for millenia. Together with local industrial 

waste, we’ve turned them into a more environmentally 

sustainable approach to griptape and EVA foam. 

RECYCLED PLASTIC 

We’ve moved away from the use of 

virgin plastic parts from our complete 

skateboards and components. 

Most noticeably, all riser pads and 

deck slide rails are being made 

from recycled industrial waste.

Algae Foam Tailpads 

BLOOM transforms air and water pollution into 

a renewable composite material. By harvesting 

algae from contaminated waters, BLOOM 

creates a petroleum free, organic and renewable 

material that we are able to use in place of virgin 

materials in the contsruction of our tailpads.

a series of board graphics based on animals with laser eyes.

Inspired by punk and skateboarding culture while 

promoting living things coexisting with nature, Hirotton’s 

style is unique and growing wildly in popularity. 

It’s hard work out there trying to make something outta nothing. That 

is, unless you’ve been skunked on waves and all you’re looking to do 

is get some turns in. If that’s the case this series of surf/skates is pure 

sorcery, and more than capable of bringing the vibe back to 100. The

Comin’ in hot, these new boards have evolved from their classic roots

becomes a lively pusher. The nature of the Outlier’s shape and 

component setup makes it very carve friendly and improves upon our 

previous Cutler shape as a great choice for lady shredders. With 

candy-colored marble flames, these are our new hot ‘n spicy favorites.
