Diversity & Inclusion – Racism<br />
On Friday, 19 th January, Stevenage FC<br />
visited the school to run assemblies and<br />
workshops created by ‘Show Racism the<br />
Red Card’ which is an anti-racism<br />
education charity.<br />
The charity harnesses the<br />
high-profile nature of<br />
footballers as anti-racist role<br />
models to educate against<br />
racism throughout society in<br />
the UK.
That same afternoon, children across the school<br />
gathered together in small groups to participate in<br />
<strong>Pupil</strong> <strong>Parliament</strong> which takes place once a term.<br />
The focus on ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ was continued<br />
with the children first discussing what Diversity<br />
meant to them which was linked to our school values.<br />
Some of the work produced by the children in the<br />
groups sessions is captured in this ebook.
