When working on an ATX system, you may find using the power button

inconvenient because you’re not using a case or you haven’t bothered to plug

the power button’s leads into the motherboard. That means there is no power

button. One trick when in that situation is to use a metal key or a screwdriver

to contact the two wires to start and stop the system (see Figure 7-31).
