pretty sure it’s a typo because power supplies offer 3.3-, 5-, and 12-VDC.

Assume the “5.5V” means power to the electronics.

The PC uses the 12-V current to power motors on devices such as hard

drives and optical drives, and it uses the 3.3- and 5-V current for support of

onboard electronics. Manufacturers may use these voltages any way they

wish, however, and may deviate from these assumptions. Power supplies also
