You can learn a lot by looking at your WAN IP address. Take a look at

Figure 21-55. At first glance, it looks the same as Figure 21-54, but notice

that there is no IP address. Most ISPs don’t provide static IP addresses—they

simply give you the physical connection, and your router’s WAN network

card uses DHCP, just like most internal networks. If you’re lucky, you can

renew your DHCP address using some button on the router’s configuration. If

not, try resetting the cable/fiber/DSL modem. If that doesn’t work, it’s time

to call your ISP.
