Alternatively, you can readily pick up cables with different end

connectors. Figure 17-29 shows a typical DVI-to-HDMI cable. Many new

devices only have Type-C connectors for output (like plain USB Type-C or

Thunderbolt-enabled USB Type-C). If the display doesn’t have a matching

port, you might have to use a USB Type-C-to-mDP or USB Type-C-to-

HDMI cable to make that connection.
