DINING Eating at The Greyhound it’s home from home except better! There’s nothing like eating at home with family or good friends, feeling comfortable, having people you love around you and just enjoying the wonderful energy, eating wholesome good food and feeling the love. We all know how brilliant it is to eat out, when laziness kicks in and you just want someone else to do the cooking ! However, finding that special place and somewhere that ticks all of these boxes to please everyone is not always that easy! The Greyhound in Beaconsfield is just that place, it’s is a Grade II listed 17th century former coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and it is beautiful. The menu I’m a vegetarian and generally avoid gluten. It’s not a problem at The Greyhound however, if you have food preferences or intolerances, there is a menu for everybody. And if there is a particular ingredient or dish you want or don’t want, the chefs will oblige as much as possible. They use only the freshest and best ingredients and the chefs attend to every detail on the plate to give you that culinary delight you look for when dining out. You don’t get bored of the menu either as it’s always changing seasonally. Being in the company of proprietors Daniel and Margriet and their wonderful staff, makes dining with people you love such a breeze. The welcome We all know the welcome is so important and you get that here. Each guest is made to feel special and cared for without it being false, they do genuinely want you to have the best dining experience! The service Mastering a subject is not easy. The staff here have been trained to a very high standard and Daniel and Margriet positively encourage taking on apprentices and giving them the best training possible. They ensure each member of staff understands what is on the menu, to advise and explain exactly to the guests. This takes great effort and worth commending. Eating at The Greyhound is a leisurely and pleasurable experience. It’s something to enjoy and not to be rushed. As Shakespeare said, “If music be the food of love, then play on” and likewise, “if food be the music of love then eat on!” Opening Hours Tuesday – Saturday Lunch 12 – 1.30pm Dinner 6.30 – 8.30pm Bar 12 – 3pm 6.30 – 10.30pm The Greyhound, 33 Windsor End Beaconsfield, HP9 2JN t: 01494 671 315 20 Beaconsfield Together is part of Community Together
