GOOD TO KNOW:
A guided tour of the hotel for all newly arrived guests takes place daily at 1 pm.
This allows you to quickly familiarise yourself with the facilities and find your way around. The
meeting point is the hotel lobby.
We meet in the hotel lobby for all programme items that take place outside the hotel.
Dinner is served daily from 6 pm to 9 pm (except 24th Dec. and 31st Dec.). A small afternoon
snack – sweet or savoury – is available from 3 pm to 4.30 pm in the hotel lobby. Enjoy an
aperitif and live music after dinner at the hotel bar.
On Christmas days and for our New Year‘s Eve ball, we ask you to wear appropriate clothing
for the occasion.
Hikes and outdoor activities may be changed at short notice due to weather conditions. We
will inform you of this as early as possible. Unless explicitly stated, hikes and outdoor activities
are for ages 15 and over.
Sturdy mountain boots or hiking boots are mandatory for hikes, and a helmet is also
mandatory for ski tours and tobogganing excursions. You can hire hiking boots, backpacks,
poles and snowshoes free of charge at the hotel reception. Helmets are available for a fee
from the SunUp shop in the basement.
Any changes to the programme can be found each day in our hotel newspaper and at the
hotel reception.

SKI PASS
You can obtain it for free from the hotel reception desk
a fee for the Sölden and Obergurgl ski resort.
SKI RENTAL and SKI SCHOOL
For the perfect skiing holiday, you will of course also
need professional equipment. At our ski rental, you can
obtain currently top-brand rental items – from skiers to
poles and shoes up to and including helmets, snowboards
and sleds. You can also rent cross-country ski
equipment. You can also book ski courses directly in the
shop.
SKI BUS
The ski bus departs daily, directly at the hotel for Sölden,
every ten minutes from 08.15 am to 11.13 am. The bus stop is located
at the entrance to the thermal bath garage. The buses
return directly to the hotel from 02.00 pm!
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
The starting point for the cross-country ski trail and also the
night trail is located directly behind the hotel by the Ötztal
Ache River. A cross-country skiing map is available at the
hotel reception desk or guest relation desk.

Wonder fibre wool

Follow the entire process of local sheep wool processing
at the Sheep Wool Centre. From sheep shearing to
making regional products such as woven carpets,
slippers or decorative blankets, you’ll learn all about the
traditional handwork of the Regensburger family. You’ll
get to touch the different types of wool from the sheep
of Ötztal farmers. Wool and natural products can be
purchased in the workshop shop.

Situated above the legendary Engelswand, Farst is one
of the oldest settlements in the valley. With our hiking
guide, Maria, you’ll start from Umhausen, uphill through
steep hairpin bends to the mountain village of Farst,

you’ll be rewarded with stunning views over the valley
floor. You can warm up for the descent in the snack
station with mulled wine or tea..

Längenfeld suspension bridge

Brand and Burgstein. Two sunny balconies cling like nests
about 200 metres above the valley floor. Maria, our hiking
guide, accompanies you from the hotel to the suspension
bridge. Walk along the old ‘Burgstein’ road until the bridge
comes into view. „Close your eyes and go!“ is the motto
on the panoramic suspension bridge, because the view
is unbeatable. 83 metres long, it spans the ‘Maurer Rinne’
and is a true landmark of Längenfeld. The route then
continues to the Brand Alm, where you can stop for a bite
to eat and warm up for the descent.

end up with the word ‘idyllic’. Nestled in a hollow above
Oetz, the clear green water reflects the surrounding
forests and the mighty towering Acherkogel. Maria takes
you to Habichen, before hiking over the Wellerbrücke
bridge to the lake. After a short break, it’s time to head
back.

Hiking fun on St. Stephen‘s Day

At the Devil‘s Pulpit, an iron devil with a trident sticks out
his fiery red tongue at visitors. Farmer Bartl is said to
have once made a deal with the devil up here. The devil
offered him wealth and prosperity in return for his soul.
Start from the hotel with Susi, go past the plague chapel
until you reach the viewing platform. After enjoying the
stunning view, you can make your way back together.

the lake, continue your hike to the Wurzbergalm.

singing bowls and smooth Gua Sha stones made from
jade or rose quartz during the facial massage.

collagen production in mature skin.

In the Wenns Nativity Scene Museum you’ll find beautiful
nativity scenes to marvel at, as well as the oldest farmhouse

The centrepiece of the Nature Park House is the almost
300 m2 natural history exhibition. Guests of the AQUA

Tyrol‘s highest waterfall – the ‘Stuibenfall’

The Stuiben Falls, with a drop height of 160 metres,
is Tyrol‘s highest waterfall. Susi, our hiking guide, will
accompany you to this natural spectacle today.
After driving to Umhausen, you’ll have a leisurely hike
past the village of Ötzi until you reach the base of the
waterfall. Your calves will then be put to the test, as you
walk up approx. 800 steps right next to the waterfall up
to impressive heights. You can fortify yourself for the
descent at the ‘Stuibenfall’ inn.

Sölden since 2020. The young entrepreneurs behind it, Florian
Schmisl and Simon Gstrein, are beer experts and connoisseurs
who primarily aim to supply the catering trade
in Ötztal with their main product, Sölsch. The lean, drinkable
Kölsch-style beer is a local brew with a clear regional

As one of the Ötztal‘s most rustic alpine pastures with
the additional feature of afternoon sun, the ‘Stallwies’,
as the Ötztal locals call their alpine pasture, is a
year-round destination. The Stallwiesalm is located
on Sölden‘s quiet side, so you can fully enjoy the tour
far away from the hustle and bustle. With Maria, our
hiking guide, you start from Sölden along a forest path,
going past coniferous forests until you reach the alpine
pasture. After a short stop for refreshments, it’s time to
return on foot or by toboggan.

Wenns, approx. 45 minutes by car. Once there, you can
explore all the floors of the house on your own, and the
museum staff will be happy to answer any questions

Larstig Alm. You’ll travel with Maria to the starting point
in Niederthai, before hiking on wide soles to the alpine
pasture. Once you arrive at the rustic hut, stop and
warm up with mulled wine or tea. Return via the Grastal
valley to Niederthai.

Alpaca hike in Sölden

There is something calming about alpacas.
Taking them for a short walk is the perfect way to relax
from the hectic pace of everyday life. The animals‘
charisma not only enchants children; adults and older
people also quickly find a connection to the animals
with their calm, enchanting nature and inquisitive
behaviour. We will take you to the farm in Sölden. From
there, you can hike along the panorama trail (approx.
1 hour) with the animals. After the hike, there will be
mulled wine and coffee/tea with biscuits.

Devil‘s Pulpit Längenfeld

At the Devil‘s Pulpit, a devil made of iron with a trident
sticks his fiery red tongue out at visitors. Farmer Bartl is
said to have once made a deal with the devil up here.
The devil offered him wealth and prosperity in return
for his soul. Start from the hotel with Maria, go past the
plague chapel until you reach the viewing platform.
After enjoying the stunning view, you can make your
way back together.
