Helping Our Society
At Jangro, we believe that
we have a responsibility to
give something back to our
communities and areas in
which we operate and live.
That’s why, as a business, we
like to support a nominated
charity each year: this year it
is The Trussell Trust.
The Trussell Trust food bank organisation
provide emergency food to people across
the UK who are facing hardship, as well as
support to help people resolve the crises they
face.
We will continue to
help raise funds and
collate donations for the
organisation through
events and company
dress down days. So far,
alongside our trading
partners we have raised a
total of £9,146 and have
donated 227.88kg of food,
which will provide 152
meals!

Jangro are in partnership with ‘Hey Girls’ a
buy-one, donate one social enterprise that
donate 100% of their profits to irradicate
period poverty and strive for period dignity
within the UK. We aim to help ensure that
when it comes to period equality everybody
has access to sustainable products and
inclusive education – for free!
Research suggests that 1 in 10 people have
struggled to afford period products. Without
access to period products, people can be
forced to use makeshift solutions, miss
education, or work, and suffer embarrasment.

So says Herb Kelleher, iconic leader and America
billionaire airline businessman and lawyer. As everyone
within our industry knows, it is people who make the greatest
contribution, keep everything running and are integral to
commercial success.
So, we need to ensure we reward and champion the
dedicated workers in the sector and importantly, nurture the
new talent coming through. This is why Jangro, once again,
proudly sponsored the Rising Star award at the prestigious
European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards.
Congratulations to the winner of the Rising Star of the Year,
Stuart Emery! Also, well done to all finalists this year who
demonstrated that they go above and beyond what is
expected of them to surpass client expectations and
influence excellence in all aspects of service provision.
We can’t wait for the awards ceremony next year and look
forward to seeing who takes home the crown.

We are thrilled to announce that Jangro sponsored the Cleaning
Operative of the Year Award! The award designed to celebrate an
individual who consistently goes above and beyond in their role,
delivering exceptional cleaning standards, and making a positive
impact in their workplace and community.
Providing Financial
Support for Young People
Four children of CHSA members’ employees are
to receive £6,000 during their university career.
The applicants were assessed by a Judging
Panel, to be granted a bursary during these
growing financial pressures faced by young
people heading to university. Felicity
Whelligan-Woodworth, the daughter of one of
our distributors Wray Brothers, has been granted
a Bursary as she prepares to study Law at the
University of York.

In addition we ourselves were shortlisted in 3 categories including
Sustainable Company of the Year,
Outstanding Achievement in Infection Prevention and Control and
Outstanding Customer Service, in which we were highly commended.
Congratulations to all winners and we can’t wait to attend the event
again next year!
We believe that the CHSA Bursary is an
incredible gesture to give something back
to their employees. We would like to wish the
final four applicants every bit of success at
university and in their future aspirations.
