What is IB Career-related<br />
Programme?<br />
The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) is an<br />
internationally recognised qualification that<br />
uniquely combines academic<br />
rigour and practical<br />
skills development,<br />
enabling students to<br />
pursue their passion<br />
while fulfilling essential<br />
academic requirements.<br />
In the two-year programme,<br />
the students<br />
study a selection of IB<br />
Diploma Programme subjects alongside undergraduate-level<br />
Pearson BTEC International<br />
Level 3 Diploma in Music or Art & Design, thus<br />
qualifying them for an IB Career-related Programme<br />
Certificate.<br />
What sets the IBCP Programme<br />
apart?<br />
With a strong emphasis on experiential learning,<br />
students are given the opportunity to<br />
study a broad range of modules geared<br />
towards enhancing their personal and professional<br />
skills. These modules consist of Personal<br />
and Professional Learning, Service Learning, a<br />
Reflective Project, and Language Development.<br />

At AMADEUS, students who pursue the IBCP<br />
with a focus on Music delve into an extensive<br />
programme, which provides a well-rounded<br />
foundation for a career in music or further<br />
education. This extended curriculum includes<br />
Music Skills Development, Global Music Industry,<br />
Personal Music Profile, and Collaborative<br />
Music Project.<br />
Moreover, the new partnership with Bösendorfer<br />
promises to open doors to more<br />
opportunities for IBCP students.<br />
Notably, the Grade<br />
12 students with the highest-achieving<br />
results in the<br />
IBCP will receive a prestigious<br />
Bösendorfer award at<br />
the end of the academic year.<br />
Additionally, the partnership<br />
with Bösendorfer<br />
undoubtedly adds another<br />
richness to AMADEUS, specifically the upcoming<br />
Pianos&Soul Competition, organised by<br />
AMADEUS Festival Vienna. Young musicians<br />
worldwide are invited to participate in the competition<br />
to exhibit their talents. The competition<br />
winner will be appointed as Bösendorfer –<br />
AMADEUS Young Artist, along with a cash prize.<br />

Focus on Art and Design<br />
Students enrolled in the programme have the opportunity to explore<br />
a broad range of specialisms and purposes in the creative industry.<br />
The learning modules cover a range of subjects, guiding students<br />
through foundation principles and technical skills that will support<br />
them in their chosen career paths. The modules include Skills<br />
Development, Responding to a Brief, Personal Progression and<br />
Creative Industry Response.
