There were five wines made by Michel Baucé in this offering. Each shows a different face, but all have similar notes of tough, stringy<br />

tannin and it does take a while for that toughness to work its way out. Leave the Michel Baucé wines for another year. Recently tasted,<br />

all five wines were losing their harsh first taste impressions.<br />

AC Fronsac, James Grégoire wonderful wines. This is one of them. Start opening this year.<br />

2006 8 8 Now much softer. Ready to open during <strong>2010</strong>.<br />

5059 Château de Fontenille, AC Bordeaux, 2006 6 7 We have watched this château improve over many years.<br />

Stéphane Defraine The wines are great. Drink this from now on.<br />

<strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Review</strong> <strong>2010</strong><br />

Initially appears rather dry, but then fruit piles onto the palate<br />

along with fruity acidity. Good wine. Will last, change and<br />

develop more personality.<br />

Not easy to find much fruit. It is clean enough and drinks quite<br />

well, but there is little to remember.<br />

Supple, good level of easily accessed fruit. Soft entry, tannic in<br />

the middle, ends with long spicy notes.<br />
