4914 Sergio Traverso Sauvignon Blanc, 2008 9 9 Lacks varietal intensity. Drinking well, attractively fruity,
Curicó Valley but not particularly showing its varietal notes.
4915 Sergio Traverso Merlot, Curicó Valley 2008 8 8 Pepper, spice and lots of nice, dark red coloured fruit.
4916 Sergio Traverso Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008 7 8 Rather easy. Mouth-filling. Middle weight, fine red flavours.

4917 Sergio Traverso Carmenère, 2007 7 8 Slow to mature. Could have done with rather more fruit,
Alto Valle del Rio Claro but there is no problem. It is doing nicely.
4918 Sergio Traverso Syrah, Curicó Valley 2007 8 8 Very fine. Well balanced. Good now.
4919 Hacienda Maitenes Carmenère, 2007 7 8 Supple wine with long tasting, elastic tannins that fill up
Alto Valle del Rio Claro the mouth and keep the fruit hidden. Needs more time.
4920 Mare Nostrum by Sergio Traverso, 2007 7 7 Delicious. It was for wines such as this that we fell for the
Curicó Valley Traverso style.
4921 Notable Blend by Sergio Traverso, 2008 7 7 This is maturing nicely.
Alto Valle del Rio Claro
4922 Domaine Villabea, AOC Condrieu 2007 8 8 For a white wine, this is huge. Orange coloured, fat, chewable
and lasting, but it is ready now. Open it and understand that it
is unlike any other white table wine.
4923 Domaine Berthet-Rayne, 2008 8 8 Very big, full-bodied and almost solid. Put it away for a year.

Cairanne, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages
4924 Château de Manissy Rosé, 2008 8 8 So delicious. Quite a mouthful. Enjoy it with food.
AOC Tavel, Cuvée Fruitée
4925 Domaine Villabea, AOC Côte-Rôtie 2006 7 7 Amazingly old-fashioned. Big and built like a block-house.
Full of tannin that still needs to soften.
4926 Domaine Gilles Flacher, 2007 6 6 Plenty of fruit, but it is still hard to get at. Be patient.
AOC Saint Joseph
4927 Domaine du Murinais, AOC Crozes 2007 7 7 Difficult wine to interpret, it is somewhere between jammy
Hermitage, Cuvée Vieilles Vignes and tannic. Give it more time.
4928 Domaine des Romarins, 2007 8 8 The lesser wine of the estate, but who would know?
AOC Côtes du Rhône It is laudable and a darn’d good drink.
4929 Domaine Vincent Rochette, 2007 8 8 Excellent. Great fruit. Good balance.

4930 Domaine des Romarins, Signargues, 2007 7 8 Absolutely the best Côtes du Rhône village to be found.
AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Enjoy it, savour it, and if you wish, keep it a while.
