Lot # Wine Year M D Comment
4761 Reserve de Sours, Sparkling Rosé, N.V. 10 10 The late Sebastien Lamothe took the estate rosé and turned
Brut, Vin Mousseux, Méthode Traditionelle it into a bright, gay and lively sparkler. Drink soon.
4762 Château de Sours Rosé, AOC Bordeaux 2008 10 10 Although very young, its youth is the attraction. Enjoy this year.
4763 Cuvée du 7 Juin, M & N, 2007 5 6 Martin and Nicolette Krajewski were determined to celebrate
AOC Bordeaux Wedding their wedding with a very fine cuvée. This is one of the best
Celebration Cuvée wines of the ’07 vintage. Balanced, full-bodied with a great structure
and masses of tannin that will take time to soften its grip.
4766 Vin de Pays des Gaules Rosé, 2008 8 10 Splash and pour – great wine at a picnic. As inconsequential
Bernard Perrin as it is attractive.
4767 Vin de Pays des Gaules Rouge, 2008 8 10 Soft, easy red. No benefit by waiting any longer.
Bernard Perrin
4768 Domaine G. Thomas, AOC Saint-Véran, 2007 8 8 Very easy. Balance is a perfect match between citric acidity,
soft, well ripened fruit and earthy notes. Ready.
4769 Bernard Perrin, AOC Beaujolais Blanc 2008 8 9 Creamy and soft with excellent balance.
4770 Domaine de Milhomme, AOC Beaujolais 2008 8 9 Bernard Perrin’s wine is wonderful. Perfect chilled or chambré,
enjoy during 2010.
4771 Domaine de Thulon, 2008 7 8 So easy to like, and rewarding, with its high juice and balance
AOC Beaujolais-Villages, Famille Jambon of fruit. Great drinking now.
4772 Domaine de Thulon, AOC Régnié, 2008 8 9 Light, fragrant red. Ready now.
Famille Jambon
4773 Domaine Dit Barron, AOC Brouilly, 2008 8 8 Light. Very aromatic. Easy. Good berry acidity and fruit. Ready.
Gilles Aujogues
4774 Domaine Desmures, AOC Chiroubles 2008 8 8 Lovely. Fragrant, flowery wine with a solid blackberry heart.
Almost ready now.
4775 Domaine Champagnon, AOC Chénas 2008 6 7 Monsieur Champagnon is the best grower in the village. His
wine is brilliant, a testament to his ability. Drink between 2010
and 2015.
4776 Domaine de la Sionnière, 2008 6 7 This is one of the best wines of this cru de Beaujolais
AOC Moulin à Vent, Thomas Patenôtre we have ever tasted. Firm. Filled with black cherries and soft
ripe berries.
4777 Domaine de la Roche-Briday, 2008 6 7 Tasted on the property, it matched a beef ragout to perfection
AOC Morgon, Thomas Collonge Will last.
4778 Clos de Haute-Combe, AOC Juliénas, 2008 6 7 Marvellous. Just enjoy this wine as much as you cherish it.
Vincent Audras It will live several years.
4779 Domaine des Deux Lys, 2008 7 8 Lovely. The word Fleurie sums up the characters.
AOC Fleurie, “Les Bataillons” It is fragrant, light, refined and easy. Good ripe tannins will give
it good length in the mouth and life in the cellar.
4780 Domaine des Grandes Vignes, 2008 7 8 Perfect example of the Gamay grape grown on a volcanic soil.
AOC Côtes du Brouilly, High acidity, honest and available fruit. Use it through the next
Founders’ Choice year or two.
4784 Folies Parisiennes, N.V. 9 9 Nothing to write home about. OK, but no better than it
Le Blanc des Heritiers Lamblin should be.
4785 Folies Parisiennes, Le Rouge des N.V. 8 9 Good, jammy notes from the southern vineyard in the blend.
Heritiers Lamblin A touch dull and very short in the mouth. Drink up.
4786 Petit Chablis AC 2007 8 9 Quite delicious. Fine varietal notes. Lively fruit. At its price, it
could be considered the best value of all the Lamlbin wines.
4787 Chablis AC, “Vieilles Vignes” 2007 6 7 Typical, finely drawn balance. Aromas of the terroir.
4788 Chablis Premier Cru, 2007 6 7 Elegant, refined and full of the chalky dry terroir. A fine
Premier Cru Controlée, “Mont de Milieu” example of the Premier Cru quality.
4789 Chablis Grand Cru, 2007 6 6 Very fine, it has hardly begun its ascent to readiness.
Grand Cru Controlée, “Vaudesir” Put it away.
