1.1 GENERAL
TOBIN Consulting Engineers have prepared this Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for an
extension to an operational composting facility located at Ballynalurgan, Kilmainhamwood, Kells, Co.
Meath. This facility is currently owned and operated by Padraic Thornton Waste Disposal Ltd, trading
as Thorntons Recycling.
Facility administration building in the form of offices, tea station, toilets and showers; and
Other works required to integrate the proposed extensions and facility administration building
