Working worlds The artists of the Day of business Three top restaurateurs cook an exclusive, multi-course menu at the VIP Networking Dinner. Darren Benhar, Flavio Fermi and Rolf Mürner are renowned artists in their field. They spoil, surprise and delight their guests time and again with their creations. Patrick Herr Flavio Fermi Flavio Fermi is a star chef and took over the Ackermannshof in Basel in 2021. This means he is back in the city where it all began with his training at the "Gundeldingerhof". Numerous stations abroad followed: Sylt, Hamburg, Bangkok. In the "Osteria TRE" of the Bad Bubendorf Hotel, he cooked his way to a Michelin star and 16 GaultMillau points. Now he unpacks his culinary backpack in the venerable "Ackermannshof" and presents a modern interpretation of Mediterranean cuisine. Darren Benhar Darren Benhar is a top gastronome and executive chef at Bad Bubendorf Hotel and Osteria Tre. Before joining Bad Bubendorf, he was head chef, instructor and specialist lecturer at Zurich's Belvoirpark Hotel Management School. For eight years, he worked as Head Chef at Google in Zurich, building up all the restaurants there. He also designed the press opening and the Google closing party at the World Economic Forum in Davos. In all these jobs, Benhar has felt the pulse of innovative gastronomy and has cooked for over 72 nations. Vegan and vegetarian food concepts, for example, are among his specialties. However, Darren Benhar is also a master of the large gourmet menu, which he was able to present during his training and years as sous chef at Basel's Gundeldingerhof (14 GaultMillau points). If you ask the top restaurateur what ingredients you need to become a chef, Benhar says: «Pride, power and love - but also punctuality, ideas and courage». www.badbubendorf.ch Rolf Mürner Rolf Mürner organizes caterings with his company Swiss Pastry Design, is a course instructor, writes award-winning books and is known for his extraordinary dessert creations. His studio is at Bern-Belp Airport, where he and his crew are extremely successful. The man from the Emmental was world pâtissier champion in 2007, third in the 2008 Culinary Olympics and acted for years as dessert coach for the Swiss national culinary team. He trained as a baker/confectioner and then worked as head pâtissier in various restaurants in the canton of Berne. Among others also in the Grand Hotel Victoria in Interlaken and in the restaurants Kornhaus and Gurten Kulm in Bern. Rolf Mürner is also a successful author. His debut book "Mürner One" was named the best dessert book in the world at the "Gourmand Cook Book Awards" in 2010.
