Per noi, per il nostro team. Ma anche per i nostri ospiti, che da AMA Stay vivono il proprio personale work-love-balance, e per chi ha partecipato ai primi AMA Community Days. We maintain a culture of appreciation, cooperation and inspiration. As a young team of international professionals and career changers as well as couples, friends and those driven by a desire to see the world, we aim to pull together and celebrate our diversity. At the end of the day, our clear objective is to put a smile on our guests’ faces whilst having the best time of our lives. Sappiamo che la salute psichica e l’impegno si intersecano costantemente. Che la chiave sta anche nel sentirsi stimati, valorizzati. Per questo puntiamo sul coinvolgimento di ognuno, sull’unire le forze per raggiungere obiettivi comuni e sulla collegialità, lavorando fianco a fianco in armonia. Siamo così grati di vivere e lavorare ogni giorno con il privilegio di amare ciò che facciamo. Insieme abbiamo creato un luogo speciale: di incontro e rigenerazione, di scambio culturale e networking. All’uscita di questo numero di <strong>AMAgazine</strong>, AMA Stay avrà appena compiuto un anno. Andiamo incontro insieme a tanti altri fantastici anni e a un inverno di ispirazioni sulle Dolomiti! Als Teamleader setzen wir auf die Zufriedenheit und mentale Gesundheit unseres Teams, was sich auch auf das Wohlbefinden unserer Gäste und Teilnehmer:innen der ersten AMA Community Days auswirkt. Denn ein Lächeln wirkt Wunder und erzeugt ein weiteres Lächeln. Wir wissen, dass psychische Gesundheit und Engagement Hand in Hand gehen. Deshalb sind uns Wertschätzung und gemeinsame Ziele so wichtig. Dankbar für die privilegierte Situation, in der wir arbeiten, leben und lieben, was wir tun, haben wir einen besonderen Ort zum Netzwerken und Auftanken, für kulturellen Austausch und Begegnung geschaffen. Wenn diese Ausgabe erscheint, gibt es AMA Stay genau ein Jahr. Ich wünsche uns allen noch viele tolle Jahre und einen inspirierenden Winter in den Dolomiten! DE We are hosts and this we do with passion. We are also employers and this comes from the heart. As team leaders, we value our employees’ happiness and mental health. If our team are happy and smiling, so ultimately are our guests. We know that mental health and dedication go hand in hand. As a result, appreciation and common goals are of utmost importance. We feel grateful for the privileged situation we work and live in and for the fact we love what we do. Together we have created a special place for networking and recharging as well as for cultural exchange and encounters. This issue coincides with AMA Stay’s first birthday. AMAGAZINE We agree with Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin: „Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your clients“. “WE CAME LOOKING FOR COPPER AND FOUND GOLD.” A key aspect of our employer branding i.e. the motivation and loyalty of our employees, is a feel-good mix of hard factors such as our modern yet homely team house as well as numerous important soft factors. These include a sense of community and companionship, peer-to-peer interaction, job shadowing and job - CAMILA switching, personal exchange, flexible working times as well as an ideal balance between hard work and relaxation, not to mention the endless ways in which to enjoy the Dolomites. We are firm supporters of a positive and cosmopolitan way of thinking and encourage our employees to grow and develop on a personal level e.g. through coaching. All of this requires us to regard our employees not just as workers, but as people. True appreciation is impossible without a genuine interest in the other person. Inspiring examples of the so-called AMA way of working can be seen in Camila and Martin from Argentina and in Marta, who came from Spain to join us here in the Dolomites. Camila and Martin arrived as a couple wishing to pursue their passion for photography and explore the Dolomites. As photographers, the UNESCO World Heritage Site was an absolute must-see for them. The geographer and electrical engineer work in housekeeping. In addition, they are responsible for creating social media content for our channels in their capacity as photo and video producers. Working in housekeeping is the perfect solution for all of us. It gives both of them the freedom they need to pursue their passion, plus we have gained two social media marketing experts. As a result, they spend every free minute in the mountains where they continue to further develop their photography and videography skills. “Just the idea of looking out the window every day and seeing the Dolomites from where I work is amazing. AMA Stay has not only given me a job, but also allows me to pursue my hobbies and embrace my love for nature.” - MARTA “In the Dolomites we have found what we were looking for: incredible landscapes, the peace and beauty of the mountains as well as the opportunity to improve as photographers. At AMA Stay we have found work, but above all we feel at home. And we have made friends, who make us feel a little more like family as the days go by, which is very important when you are far from home.” - CAMILA Marta has been with us from day one. In one word, she is multi-talented! The qualified advertising and PR expert started with us as a junior chef in the restaurant. In the summer she worked in both the restaurant and at reception. Since last winter, she has been a permanent member of the reception team. We love her open nature and her infectious energy and admire how she has integrated into village life and interacts with the locals. Marta loves working in the mountains, going for walks in the forest after work and is amazed by the many outdoor activities that our nature parks and the Plan de Corones ski area have to offer. “We’re all from different countries and different backgrounds. We’ve all left things behind and that’s what brings us together. Working and living together has turned us into one big family. In a way, it is home from home.” “While working in the restaurant as a waitress day to day, I became more and more fascinated by the hospitality sector and one day I felt ready to take another professional step, to learn and apply new skills. As a result, AMA Stay gave me this opportunity and offered me a job at reception.” - MARTA “AMA STAY ALLOWS ME TO COMBINE MY JOB, MY HOBBIES AND MY LOVE FOR NATURE.” - MARTA “We came looking for copper and found gold. We are motivated by the possibility of growth and the chance to pursue what we love.” - CAMILA “What we like most about AMA Stay is the young, relaxed atmosphere. Most of all, we appreciate the opportunity to communicate with each other, to speak and be heard, to engage in dialogue and to seek mutual solutions. Being heard is directly related to feeling valued and that’s how we feel here at AMA.” Der AMA Way of Working. Bei AMA Stay steht die Zufriedenheit aller im Mittelpunkt. Oder Marta, die als Allrounderin im Restaurant begann, seit dem Winter an der Rezeption arbeitet und die Natur und das Dorfleben liebt. Unser Team schätzt die offene Atmosphäre und die Möglichkeit zum Dialog und zur Mitgestaltung. Sie fühlen sich als Teil einer großen Familie, in der Arbeit und Leben miteinander verschmelzen. Siamo un team giovane, internazionale e meravigliosamente variegato che unisce chi fa questo lavoro da sempre e chi è alla prima esperienza. Lavoriamo insieme con lo stesso obiettivo: far brillare gli occhi degli ospiti e allo stesso tempo vivere il periodo più bello della nostra vita. Il segreto del nostro successo? Oppure Marta, innamorata della natura e della vita di paese, che dal ruolo di allrounder all’AMA Restaurant questo inverno è passata alla reception.
