Established in 2005, Newcastle Rugby<br />
Foundation (reg. 1107851) is the<br />
official charity of Newcastle Falcons<br />
and Newcastle Thunder professional<br />
teams. The charity comprises of two<br />
sections, Falcons Community and<br />
Thunder Community.<br />
Each year, we work with 15,000+ people<br />
in the North-East and Cumbria in some<br />
of the most deprived communities to<br />
activate positive change.<br />
Making RUGBY+ the positive difference<br />
that changes lives for good.<br />
During the festive period, we are<br />
supporting those needing extra<br />
support at this time of year in the<br />
Northeast and you can help by scanning<br />
the QR code to donate to the <strong>Christmas</strong><br />
donations which will be used to spread<br />
a little bit of <strong>Christmas</strong> cheer to those<br />
around the region, these donations<br />
will be used to buy much-needed food,<br />
drink, personal hygiene products, toys<br />
and other items which are required.<br />
We will also be taking donations at<br />
the Montpellier Fixture on Sunday 10th<br />
December.<br />
We will have an area where you can<br />
donate food and non-food items on the<br />
day, items that are in demand are:<br />
• Breakfast cereal such as<br />
Weetabix and Cornflakes<br />
• Pasta, noodles, and rice<br />
• Tea and coffee<br />
• Long-life milk<br />
• Canned fruit, vegetables,<br />
and tuna<br />
• Baked beans and spaghetti<br />
• Spreads like jam, peanut<br />
butter, and marmite<br />
• Shelf stable meals, e.g.,<br />
meals that can be stored at<br />
room temperature in a sealed<br />
container<br />
• Personal hygiene products<br />
such as shampoo, conditioner,<br />
toothpaste, and toilet paper
