WILL CALVER, BRITISH (B 1996)<br />
<strong>Will</strong> <strong>Calver</strong> is a graduate of Falmouth University (BFA). He lives in the Kent countryside<br />
and works from his studio set among fruit trees and farmland. He paints objects in a<br />
way that speaks both of their individual and universal nature, paying homage to what he<br />
paints, the medium and its history.<br />
The paintings are made from life, working from direct observation to study the<br />
interactions between light, form and colour. <strong>Will</strong> expresses an intimacy that develops<br />
through spending time in the presence of the subject.<br />
<strong>Will</strong> has exhibited across the UK, including at the Turner Contemporary Gallery, Margate and<br />
the Mall Galleries, London.<br />
