FreiLacke gilt als Spezialist für Systemlack und
Systemlack-Kompetenz. Beide Begriffe wurden von
dem Traditionsunternehmen aus Döggingen maßgeblich
geprägt.
Wir entwickeln und produzieren alle gängigen
Lacksysteme unter einem Dach. Damit können wir unseren
Kunden nicht nur alle wichtigen Lacktechnologien
anbieten, sondern diese auch hinsichtlich
Beschichtungsaufbau und Optik optimal aufeinander
abstimmen.
Die Vorteile: beste Materialeigenschaften, durchgängig
gleiche Farbergebnisse (auch bei unterschiedlichen
Produkten und Lackarten) sowie bedarfsgerechte
Konfiguration von einzelnen Lacken – und das alles aus
einer Hand.
FreiLacke unterscheidet zwei Arten von Systemlacken:

to system coatings and system coating expertise. Both
terms have been heavily influenced by the work of the
long-established company from Döggingen.
We develop and produce all conventional coating systems
under one roof. We are thus able to offer our customers
not only all the important coating technologies but can
also match these to the respective coating structure and
finish to optimum effect.
The advantages: best material properties, consistent
colour results (even with varying products and coating
types) and the needs-based configuration of individual
coatings – and all from one source.
FreiLacke distinguishes between two types of system
coating:
Vertikale Systemlacke
Bei den vertikalen Systemlacken werden unterschiedliche
Lacke zu einem mehrschichtigen Lackaufbau kombiniert.
Dadurch erhält man eine hochwertige und beständige
Lackierung, die optimalen Schutz bietet.
Vertical system coatings
In the case of vertical system coatings, different coatings
are combined to create a multi-layer coating structure.
This results in a high-quality and durable coating that
offers optimum protection.
Horizontale Systemlacke
Bei den horizontalen Systemlacken werden unterschiedliche
Nass- und Pulverlacke zur Beschichtung
verschiedener Bauteile eines Objektes verwendet.
Dadurch erhält man trotz heterogener Untergründe eine
homogene Optik.
Horizontal system coatings
In the case of horizontal system coatings, different
liquid- and powder coatings are used to coat different
components of a product. This results in a uniform look
despite differing substrates.

Fahrzeugbau | Vehicle construction
Die Erwartungshaltung bei den Fahrzeugen steigt ständig an, sowohl im
technischen als auch im optischen Bereich.
Deshalb ist eine Übereinstimmung zwischen den eingesetzten Pulver-,
Flüssig-, IMC- ,KTL-Acrylat-Lacken und Gelcoats in Bezug auf Glanz und
Farbton von sehr hoher Bedeutung.
The technical and optical expectations of the vehicles are constantly increasing.
Therefore, compatibility between the applied powder, liquid, IMC and
cathodic EC acrylate coatings as well as gelcoats with regard to gloss and
colour is of extremely high importance.
Maschinen- und Apparatebau | Mechanical engineering
Im Bereich des Maschinenbaues sind meistens sehr viele Zulieferer am
Herstellungs- und Beschichtungsprozess beteiligt. Neben geeigneten Nassund
Pulverlacken können auch individuelle Reparatursysteme zur Verfügung
gestellt werden.
In the mechanical engineering sector many suppliers are often actively
involved in the manufacturing and coating processes. In addition to suitable
wet and powder coatings, individual repair systems can also be made
available.
Bau und Sanitär | Construction and sanitary
Die Beschichtung von Stahlmöbeln, z.B. für den Bürobereich, erfolgt in der
Regel mit Pulverlacken, Flüssiglacken oder Elektrotauchlacken. In vielen
Anwendungsfällen werden diese Lackiertechniken kombiniert, woraus eine
entsprechende Anforderung an die Übereinstimmung der Systeme in Bezug
auf Glanzgrad, Oberfläche und Farbton entsteht.
Steel furniture, e.g. for the office sector, is often coated using powder, liquid
or electrodeposition coatings. In many applications, these coating techniques
are combined, which makes it necessary for systems to conform with
one another in terms of gloss level, surface and colour shade.

Für eine optimale Übereinstimmung verschiedener Lacksysteme muss ein besonderes
Augenmerk auf die Aspekte Farbton, Glanz und Struktur gelegt werden.
Farbton
Durch die Herstellung der unterschiedlichen Lacksysteme an
einem Standort ist es uns möglich, bei den verschiedenen Lacken
auf dieselben Farbpigmente zurückzugreifen.
Dies gewährt eine maximale Übereinstimmung der Farbtöne -
auch bei unterschiedlichen Lichtarten.
Pulverlack
Glanz
Für die Erreichung eines gewünschten Glanzgrades ist neben
der Lackrezeptur auch die Verarbeitung der Lacke von großer
Bedeutung. Die Einbrennparameter beim Pulverlack, oder die
genaue Einhaltung von Mischungsverhältnissen bei 2 K Lacken
sind Beispiele weiterer Einflussgrößen auf den Glanzgrad.
Pulverlack
In unserer anwendungstechnischen Abteilung können diese
Parameter ermittelt und den Anwendern der Lacksysteme zur
Verfügung gestellt werden.
Struktur
Egal ob eine glatte Oberfläche oder eine bestimmte
Oberflächentextur gefordert ist - wenn verschiedene Lackarten
aufeinander angepasst werden, dann ist sehr oft der Pulverlack
Ausgangspunkt für die Einstellung der Oberflächenstruktur. Neben
der Lackrezeptur ist dort hauptsächlich die Einhaltung eines
Schichtstärkefensters dafür verantwortlich, dass beim Einbrennen
des Pulverlackes im Ofen der richtige Verlauf oder die richtige
Struktur entsteht.
Mit den Nasslacken wird dann insbesondere bei Strukturlacken,
durch optimierte Applikationsparameter wie Düsengröße,
Materialdrücke oder Auftragsgeschwindigkeit, die Struktur an die
Vorlage angepasst.

For a perfect match of different coating-systems it‘s necessary to focus
on aspects like colour, gloss and struture.
Colour
By manufacturing different coating systems in one location,
we are able to make use of the same colour pigments
during the production of different coatings.
This guarantees a maximum consistency of colour - even in
differing types of illumination.
Pulverlack
Gloss
The application of the coating as well as its formulation are
both of equal importance in the endeavour to achieve the
desired level of gloss. The baking parameters for powder coatings
and the strict adherence to mixing ratios for 2C coatings
are further examples of factors influencing the level of gloss.
Pulverlack
These parameters can be identified by our application technology
department and then made available to the user of the
coating system.
Structure
Regardless of whether a smooth surface or a particular surface
texture is required - when different coating types are tailored to
each other, the powder coating is frequently the starting point for
the formulation of the surface structure. In addition to the coating
formulation, it is primarily the observance of the coating thickness
window that ensures the correct running properties and structures
are achieved when the powder coating is baked in the oven.
When using wet coatings, the structure is then tailored to the
template by means of optimised application parameters such as
nozzle size, material pressures or application speed. This is particularly
common for structure coatings.
