Broad and Balanced...<br />
Year 1<br />
Well done Year 1. We have had a very busy few weeks. As part of our PSHE focus, we are<br />
continuing to learn to work together. The children have created some amazing structures and<br />
towers. After listening to the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff, the children made bridges<br />
using a selection of different resources.<br />
In science the children were set a challenge to make an umbrella for our class bear.<br />
They conducted experiments to determine which materials were the most suitable to use.<br />
The children have also been learning to log onto the chrome books and play simple maths<br />
games.<br />
A big thank you to Lucus’ mum, who taught the children all about the mid-Autumn festival.<br />
They listened to a story, made lanterns and paraded with them.
