NOx & PARTICLE SENSOR SERVICE KIT 29 PCS. 

For disassembly & assembly of NOx & particle sensors, 

cleaning and renewal of the holding thread in the exhaust 

system. 

Unscrewing these sensors (22 mm & 24 mm), installed 

in cars, vans and trucks, can cause enormous problems. 

The hexagon of the sensor and/or the fastening 

thread in the exhaust system is often damaged when 

unscrewing these sensors. This results in high consequential 

costs, e.g. by replacing the relevant component 

of the exhaust system in which the sensor is mounted. 

This special tool ensures the unscrewing of the sensor, 

the thread tightening as well as the possible 

insertion of a new threaded bushing through the following 

work steps: 

■ DUO sensor socket 

for loosening the sensor by means of a special socket spanner (22 mm or 24 mm), 

which is in tight and closed contact with the sensor hexagon. Unscrew the sensor 

with an actuating nut 30 mm or a spanner, which in turn is friction friction-locked to 

the socket. This ensures that the sensor can be loosened without damage. 

■ Cleaning and re-tapping 

of the sensor mounting thread in the exhaust system. Two special taps (M20x1.5 

& M22x1.5) specially developed for this application enable re-tapping even in the 

tightest of spaces. 

■ Thread renewal 

by drilling out the damaged sensor mounting thread by using a concentrically inserted 

drill guide sleeve and a carbide-tipped core hole drilling device with limited 

depth stop. Afterwards, a threaded bushing fixing thread is inserted with a special 

tap and a new threaded bushing (M20x1.5 or M22x1.5) is screwed in by means of a 

setting pin.

Known problem: When dismantling extremely seized glow 

plugs, the drive hexagon often tears off. 

The solution: With this tool, the center contact is removed in just 

a few steps, a screw-on or impact centering is applied and the 

glow plug‘s mounting thread is drilled out in the core diameter. 

The thread in the cylinder head is not damaged. A pull thread is 

then cut in the remaining body of the glow element and pulled 

out of the glow plug shaft with the aid of a spindle. In a final operation, 

the fastening thread and the bore in the cylinder head are 

cleaned. If necessary, the sealing seat of the glow plug can be 

reworked with our special reamer.

SPECIAL TAPS SET FOR GLOW PLUGS 

Special taps for rethreading and cleaning the glow plug 

mounting thread in the cylinder head. The special taps are 

guided in the shaft below the fastening thread in the cylinder 

head by the integrated guide pin. In this way the thread is 

cleaned and rethreaded exact angular in the cylinder head. 

The special taps should be moistened with grease before use. 

If circumstances demand a very long and narrow extension, 

the taps can also be used with the tap holder 6041637.

More than once the drive hexagon break off during removing extremely seized glow plugs. While still attached to the glow plug body, the central 

contact of the glow plug prevents the drive hexagon from being removed. With these tool sets, in a few steps, the central contact is removed, a 

screw-on or hammering drill sleeve installed and the glow plug is guided or freehand drilled out.

More than once, the hex-drive of an extremely seized Glow Plug 

will break off during the removing process. 

The central contact of the glow plug prevents the drive hexagon 

from being removed as it‘s attached to the Glow Plug body. With 

these tool set, in a few steps, the central contact will be removed, 

a screw-on or hammer-in drill sleeve installed, and the glow plug 

will be drilled out by a guided drilling-system.The Glow Plugs on 

OM651 engine are very hard to reach, therefore, and for the safety 

of the working-process, a guided drilling system is essential.

For removing of broken elements of glow plugs tips, with the 

threads M8x1, M10x1 and M10x1.25. 

It is possible that during the removal of the glow plug the delicate 

element breaks off and the tip remains in the shaft. This

INJECTOR REMOVAL KIT FORD 2.0 TDCI (YNF6), 12 T 

For removing frozen common rail injectors from the cylinder head 

using 12 t hollow piston cylinders. The 2-phase extraction system 

specially adapted for this engine includes two removal options: 

Phase 1: 

Here, the extraction device is attached to the injector in a „non-destructive“ 

manner. However, with this variant, only limited tractive 

force can be permitted on the injector. If the tractive force is not 

sufficient to pull the injector out of the cylinder head, you must then 

proceed with phase 2. 

Phase 2: 

Here, the injector nozzle is manipulated and destroyed in order to be 

able to attach a pull-out connection to the injector with a high tensile 

force. This allows extremely tight injectors to be pulled out under the 

full pulling force of the 12 t hydraulic cylinder. If the injector breaks off 

at the lower screw connection during the extraction process, the rest of 

the injection nozzle can also be extracted using additional parts from 

this tool set.

S-Max, Mondeo, Focus, C-Max and many more.
