NOx & PARTICLE SENSOR SERVICE KIT 29 PCS.<br />

For disassembly & assembly of NOx & particle sensors,<br />

cleaning and renewal of the holding thread in the exhaust<br />

system.<br />

Unscrewing these sensors (22 mm & 24 mm), installed<br />

in cars, vans and trucks, can cause enormous problems.<br />

The hexagon of the sensor and/or the fastening<br />

thread in the exhaust system is often damaged when<br />

unscrewing these sensors. This results in high consequential<br />

costs, e.g. by replacing the relevant component<br />

of the exhaust system in which the sensor is mounted.<br />

This special tool ensures the unscrewing of the sensor,<br />

the thread tightening as well as the possible<br />

insertion of a new threaded bushing through the following<br />

work steps:<br />

■ DUO sensor socket<br />

for loosening the sensor by means of a special socket spanner (22 mm or 24 mm),<br />

which is in tight and closed contact with the sensor hexagon. Unscrew the sensor<br />

with an actuating nut 30 mm or a spanner, which in turn is friction friction-locked to<br />

the socket. This ensures that the sensor can be loosened without damage.<br />

■ Cleaning and re-tapping<br />

of the sensor mounting thread in the exhaust system. Two special taps (M20x1.5<br />

& M22x1.5) specially developed for this application enable re-tapping even in the<br />

tightest of spaces.<br />

■ Thread renewal<br />

by drilling out the damaged sensor mounting thread by using a concentrically inserted<br />

drill guide sleeve and a carbide-tipped core hole drilling device with limited<br />

depth stop. Afterwards, a threaded bushing fixing thread is inserted with a special<br />

tap and a new threaded bushing (M20x1.5 or M22x1.5) is screwed in by means of a<br />

setting pin.<br />

Professional milling and cleaning tool for the sealing seat of the tyre valves in alloy rims.<br />

Salt corrosion and oxidation leaves residues and dissolves the lacquer and clear coat in aluminium rims, which often leads to a small bubble<br />

formation and lifting of the lacquer.<br />

This damage causes air to leak around the tyre valve because the valve is no longer completely flat against the surface. Depending on the severity<br />

of the damage, the seat must first be cleaned and/or deburred before the grinding and polishing pins can grind the seat flat in the next work step.<br />

Known problem: When dismantling extremely seized glow<br />

plugs, the drive hexagon often tears off.<br />

The solution: With this tool, the center contact is removed in just<br />

a few steps, a screw-on or impact centering is applied and the<br />

glow plug‘s mounting thread is drilled out in the core diameter.<br />

The thread in the cylinder head is not damaged. A pull thread is<br />

then cut in the remaining body of the glow element and pulled<br />

out of the glow plug shaft with the aid of a spindle. In a final operation,<br />

the fastening thread and the bore in the cylinder head are<br />

cleaned. If necessary, the sealing seat of the glow plug can be<br />

reworked with our special reamer.<br />

SPECIAL TAPS SET FOR GLOW PLUGS<br />

Special taps for rethreading and cleaning the glow plug<br />

mounting thread in the cylinder head. The special taps are<br />

guided in the shaft below the fastening thread in the cylinder<br />

head by the integrated guide pin. In this way the thread is<br />

cleaned and rethreaded exact angular in the cylinder head.<br />

The special taps should be moistened with grease before use.<br />

If circumstances demand a very long and narrow extension,<br />

INJECTOR REMOVAL KIT FORD 2.0 TDCI (YNF6), 12 T<br />

For removing frozen common rail injectors from the cylinder head<br />

using 12 t hollow piston cylinders. The 2-phase extraction system<br />

specially adapted for this engine includes two removal options:<br />

Phase 1:<br />

Here, the extraction device is attached to the injector in a „non-destructive“<br />

manner. However, with this variant, only limited tractive<br />

force can be permitted on the injector. If the tractive force is not<br />

sufficient to pull the injector out of the cylinder head, you must then<br />

proceed with phase 2.<br />

Phase 2:<br />

Here, the injector nozzle is manipulated and destroyed in order to be<br />

able to attach a pull-out connection to the injector with a high tensile<br />

force. This allows extremely tight injectors to be pulled out under the<br />

full pulling force of the 12 t hydraulic cylinder. If the injector breaks off<br />

at the lower screw connection during the extraction process, the rest of<br />

the injection nozzle can also be extracted using additional parts from<br />

this tool set.<br />
