ALADS DISPATCHER VOL.XLIII ISSUE 3 FALL 2023

Assemblyman Freddie Rodriguez was presented
with the ALADS Legislature of the Year Award.
Deputy Juan Tobias was presented with the ALADS
Medal for Bravery.
Samantha Chambers accepted The Howard Chambers Award
for Outstanding City Manager Leadership for her father,
Howard Chambers. This award will be presented annually.
Investigator Jorge Gutierrez was presented with
the ALADS Award for Rookie of the Year.
Deputies Austin Jordan and Jake Adamo were
presented with the ALADS Lifesaving Award.
While on vacation at Lake Havasu, Deputy Kristopher Rouse
was informed of a swimmer who drowned. Deputy Rouse
dove into the murky water in search of the victim.
He located him in 12 feet of water at the bottom of the
Bridgewater Channel. Lake Havasu Fire and Paramedics
responded and assisted Deputy Rouse in retrieving the victim.
Deputy Rouse’s quick actions saved the life of the victim.
Deputy Kristopher Rouse was presented with the
“ALADS Life Saving Award.”
For their tireless efforts in 2022 that resulted in a large number of arrests and resulted in safer
streets and highways for Los Angeles County residents, the ALADS Exemplary Performance / MADD
