Precision on rails - The compact Boker Plus
S-Rail by Darriel Caston delivers pure cutting
performance, precisely, without detours and
delays. The pocket knife is opened with the
thumb stud, which pushes the satin-finished
cleaver blade made of cutting D2 forward
over a rail with half-stop safety and makes
it immediately ready for use. The tightly
scheduled timetable includes stations in the
cutting of cartons, packaging or cords with
a start and finish in everyday cutting tasks.
To close the knife, the thumb stud is pressed
again, sliding the blade onto the non-slip
black G10 handle. The minimalist design, light
weight and one-start operation contribute to
the Boker Plus S-Rail's unparalleled suitability
for everyday use, while the deep-carry clip
(tip-down/r) and the lanyard hole ensure a

Based on a science fiction comedy from the
late 1980s, U.S. knife designer Keanu Alfaro
embarks on a breathtaking journey that has
taken him through space and time with the
iconic Boker Plus Bill N Ted Operation. The
practical EDC knife now holds the leading
role, while Alfaro's namesake remains merely
the extra. Equipped with a satin-finished drop
point blade made of D2, the pocket knife goes
to work valiantly and cuts cardboard boxes,
packaging or cords as it flies by. The thumb
stud for opening can be dismantled; the
linerlock secures the blade fearlessly. A cutter
knife blade with a slide lock in the back of the
handle confidently takes on the supporting
role and completes the daredevil duo. The
handle is the unmistakable testimony to the
journey through time, combining modern,
striated G10 with classic aluminium in a clean
look. The tip-up clip (r), which allows for
carrying in deep-carry mode, is also futureproof.

The Sprocket for the Pocket — Designer
Henning Marxen combines clean lines
with minimalist eccentricity and dynamic
functionality in this timeless design. Elements
that make the Boker Plus Gearhead more
than just a pocket knife, but rather a unison
of gears that intertwine perfectly like a
well-lubricated gearbox. The cleaver blade
made of D2 with a puristic stonewash finish
opens as smoothly as silk via a thumb hole
and does not lock. It is held by the modern
Detent-Slipjoint mechanism, in which balls
are pressed against the blade inside the
textured, non-slip G10 handle and a clamping
force must be overcome to close and open
the knife. The highlight is that the knife has
a double joint with a two-piece handle in
which the blade is folded out as usual and
the rear handle scales act as an extension
of the front one. The result is a balanced
feel, impressive sharpness and maximum
compactness for transport, as the length of
the folder disappears completely into the
rear handle when it is closed. Blade length:

As one of four smiths, the dwarf Dvalin
created the necklace Brisingamen for Freya,
the Germanic goddess of love. In Norse
mythology, this special necklace is said to be
associated with magic, love, but also sorrow
and suffering. Thus, Freya's tears in heaven
always promised rich fruit on earth. However,
it was the wrath of Odin, the father of the gods,
that not infrequently caused the goddess of
love to spark wars in the human world. Dirk
Hofmeister of Midgard's Knives was inspired
by the Nordic art of forging and created
the pocket knife version of the popular Little
Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder impresses
with its compact size and features a ballbearing
blade made of D2 with an austere
stonewash finish and a pronounced hollow
groove on both sides as a nail nick for opening
the folding knife. The jimpings on the back
of the blade promise a secure thumb rest for
difficult cutting tasks. Despite the wrath of the
gods, the well-shaped handle made of G10
always lies securely in the hand. The stainless
steel frame lock is concealed on the back of
the handle and reliably secures the blade.
Alternative handle scales in a wide variety
of shapes, colors and materials can be easily
printed out by yourself using a commercially
available 3D printer. The tip-up clip (r) takes
on the texture of the handle, while the lanyard
