COWL OPTION 2 Knit squares 1 to 5 as above plus square 6: Square 1:Color 1 Square 2:Color 2 Square 3:Color 3 Square 4:Color 4 Square 5:Color 5 Square 6:Remnants of colors 4, 3, 2, and 1 (in that order). Directions for Square 6 C0 80 stitches, pick up center stitch, pick up 80 stitches. Wash and block. GOLDEN RATIO BLANKET Knit the first 6 squares in a yarn weight and color(s) of your choice. Use a hook and needles appropriate for the weight of yarn. To add a border, pick up and knit every stitch along one side of the blanket. In garter stitch knit 14 rows (7 ridges). Bind off loosely. Repeat this along each edge in turn. Using a yarn of your choice, and a crochet hook appropriate for the yarn weight, HDC along the CDD lines from the center of the blanket outwards. Weave in the 2 ends. Wash and block.
