Festival Youth Lab!
Are you aged 16-24 and passionate about a creative career? The Cambridge Film
Festival Youth Lab offers a vibrant platform for like-minded individuals to connect
in a relaxed, sociable setting.
A central part of the year-round festival activities, the Youth Lab is a dynamic, youth-led film education
initiative that empowers young people in several ways:
• Enhance Your Skills: Sharpen your film evaluation and criticism abilities.
• Build Connections: Network with industry professionals.
• Future-Proof Knowledge: Develop a deeper understanding of cinema.
Throughout the year, the Youth Lab hosts discussion groups, workshops, networking events
and talks by industry experts. During the festival, the Youth Jury Lab plays a pivotal role,
awarding the Youth Lab Jury Award for the best feature film.
We warmly welcome individuals aged 16-24 from diverse backgrounds,
including those with disabilities, global majority
and disadvantaged backgrounds.
