MozambiqueIn Mozambique more than 46% of the population lives below the poverty line. WhenCovid-19 broke out, the country was still recovering from two devastatinghurricanes in 2019 and the consequences of the 2016 economic crisis.The social and economic impact on the country was quite serious andespecially on the most vulnerable groups: children, women and ruralcommunities. WHAT WE DODemocratic Republic of the CongoThe humanitarian crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (RDC) is one of the longestand most complex in the world. It is estimated that in 2022, 27 million people need aidand humanitarian protection because of a very serious food insecurity, with almost 5.5 millioninternally displaced forced to move several times, and 500,000 refugees and asylum seekersfrom nearby countries .
