Where hope lives for patients and families<br />
For more than 30 years, <strong>Hospice</strong> <strong>Buffalo</strong> has provided compassionate care for people<br />
nearing the end of life. The Spring Bouquet Sale is the largest event of the <strong>Hospice</strong><br />
Foundation. More than 50 local florists, 450 area businesses, schools, organizations and<br />
500 volunteers support this event, and we hope you will, too. In 22 years, we’ve sold<br />
381,000 bouquets and 18,600 tribute bouquets, raising more than $2.9 million for<br />
<strong>Hospice</strong>. You can pick up a bouquet for $7 at your participating florist or by visiting<br />

Planning Facilitator Course this<br />
spring. An Advance Care Planning<br />
Facilitator is a person who is able<br />
to guide others to understand and<br />
explore options for advance care<br />
planning. This includes determining<br />
life values and goals for future care<br />
and medical treatments during the<br />
final phases of life. The course is<br />
$139.00 and consists of two components:<br />
the Respecting Choices ®<br />
on-line training and 1 classroom<br />
day. The online training modules<br />
1-6 must be completed prior to the<br />
classroom day. The classroom day<br />
will be held on Thursday, April 30,<br />
2009, from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.<br />
at the <strong>Hospice</strong> Mitchell Campus,<br />
225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga.<br />
