6 ESSEX MEDIA GROUP TOPSFIELD FAIR 2023 THREE LEGENDARY DOO-WOP GROUPS TO PERFORM The 205th Topsfield Fair, running Sept. 29 through Oct. 9, is proud to announce that three of the world’s most influential groups in creating the rock and roll/doo-wop sound will perform on the Grandstand Stage on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. Cornell Gunter’s Coasters, The Drifters, and The Platters (“Many Voices, One Name”) will perform some of their top classic songs including “Yakety Yak,” “Only You,” and “Under the Boardwalk,” plus many more that helped launch them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! It’s a free show with fair admission. “It’s always fun to have classic groups perform at the Topsfield Fair,” Topsfield Fair General Manager James O’Brien said. “However, to have three iconic groups perform on the same stage on the same night is going to be extra special.” HELP WANTED Zamboni Drivers needed apply at Peabody-MA.com ACTIVITIES ARE BACK!!
