It is a matter of pride to pen down the message for the annual
newsletter of RKTTI. This newsletter is the reflection of
cultural, educational and other activities and programs being
presented by the trainees under the guidance of teachers.
The participation of Pupil teachers’ in such activities not only
strengthens their content knowledge, it enables them to
accomplish the aims of education. The management of
R.K.T.T.I. organizes a number of in-service programs for the
professional growth of teacher educators so that they remain
updated with new developments and give their best to the
pupil-teachers. I extend my warm wishes to the Principal, Staff
and students of R.K.T.T.I. to continue their journey on the road

The newsletter is the mirror which reflects all aspects of
creativity and achievements of the pupil-teachers in
academic and co-curricular activities. The institute has
been making best efforts to mould and polish the
personality and character of the trainees. Every
individual has innate capabilities which remain latent
but they develop when the favorable conditions are
provided. Our Institute is incessantly striving to develop
and nurture talent of the trainees. I commend the

It is indeed a proud moment for all of us to bring out the twelfth
issue of R.K.T.T.I. newsletter under the very able guidance,
motivation and inspiration of our by name Director Mrs. Kanta
Aggarwal. I am specially thankful to our Chairman Mr. I.P.
Aggarwal and Dr. S.K. Bhatia for their unstinted support
towards our march for excellence in education. In the modern
society, Institute is not a place for merely filling student’s mind
with facts, figures and information. It is a place where they find
opportunity to develop their creative potential and latent
abilities for meeting future challenges and serving society. Our
devoted teachers have been nurturing the fertile brains of
trainees. The Institute has successfully moulded the careers of

It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction that our
institute is bringing out XII issue of the session 2022-2023
newsletter. The newsletter inspires and motivates the
students to develop their potential and creative talent.
Newsletter is collage of ideas, a digest of innovative and
impressive brainwork to reflect the achievements of the
institution, contribution of teachers and students by
motivating them to express their thoughts and ideas.
Pupil Teachers were encouraged to express their views,
thoughts, reactions and creativity. We got a warm
response from them. We hope the publication of these
newsletters will nurture talent of our future teachers. I

We are very pleased to present you all the newsletter of
R.K.T.T.I for the year 2022-2023. I would like to express my
deep gratitude to our Principal ma’am and our wonderful
teachers for their constant support and encouragement to
overcome all obstacles that come our way, you all are always
putting your best foot forward to ensure the best environment
for the students. There is nobody like you all. Ramakrishna is
the best Teachers’ Training Institute in Delhi that helps their
pupils to make their dreams come true.
R.K.T.T.I provides an extensive platform to the trainees to

As a part of the editorial board, I feel delighted that our
premier institute R.K.T.T.I. is going to publish its newsletter for
the year 2022-2023
I take this opportunity to thank our Principal ma’am and our
wonderful teachers for always motivating and encouraging us
to endeavor all those special skills for turning us into
enthusiastic and dynamic teachers of tomorrow.
R.K.T.T.I. has given tremendous platform to trainees to express
themselves in most creative way through various activities.
We all know that the road to success is neither smooth nor
stable, but with our persistent efforts we are sure that our
dreams and desires will become the roaring realities of
tomorrow.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Independence Day is a momentous occasion that holds a special place
in the heart of every Indian. Ramakrishna Teacher Training Institute,
celebrated Independence Day on 14 th August 2022. The institute was
decorated with tricolors of the Indian Flag. The atmosphere became
vibrant and evoked the feeling of unity and nation‟s pride. The guest
of honour Mr I.P Aggarwal (Chairman, Triveni Educational and Social
Welfare Society), hoisted the national flag in the presence of a gleeful
gathering followed by the guard of honour, Mrs. Kanta Aggarwal
( Manager, R.K.T.T.I.) and Dr. S.K. Bhatia (Chairman, R.K.T.T.I.)
blessed the trainees. A solemn speech was given by the Mrs. Seema
Sehgal ( Principal, R.K.T.T.I ) on the occasion. Trainees presented
cultural program which included patriotic songs, folk dances and
performed skits showing the fervor of patriotism, there was a feeling
of pride and patriotism in everyone‟s heart.
At the end, chairman Mr. I.P Aggarwal with his inspiring words
touched the young hearts by reminding the sacrifices made by the
freedom fighters and soldiers. He encouraged the students to be true
citizens and carry forward the torch of freedom, unity and equality.
The program came to an end with the recitation of the national
anthem.
TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION
Teachers‟ day is an annual event celebrated to honor and appreciate
the hard work, dedication and contribution of teachers in shaping the
lives of students. R.K.T.T.I solemnly celebrated Teachers Day with
great gusto and gaiety on 5 th September 2022. The institute campus
was adorned with vibrant decorations, posters, flowers were used to
create a festive atmosphere, trainees performed songs, dances, skits
and poem recitation to honor and entertain the teachers, students also
expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by giving short
speeches and they also arranged some fun games for the teachers to
entertain them. Program concluded with Mrs. Seema Sehgal
( principal , R.K.T.T.I.) speech and she extended her heartiest thanks
to all the trainees. “Teachers Day” is not only a day of celebration but
also a reminder of the profound impact of teachers on the lives of their
trainees, which strengthens the bond between teachers and students
and reinforces the importance of education in shaping a brighter
future for all. The event fostered a positive atmosphere in the campus
promoting healthy teacher-student relationships. All the teachers
enjoyed and appreciated the programme.
Eco Friendly Diwali Celebration
Diwali is the festival of lights and symbolize the spiritual victory of
light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
Ramakrishna teacher training institute celebrated Diwali on 21 st
October 2022. The institute was decorated with lights, beautiful
displays of diyas and a rangoli competition was also organized to
encourage trainees to show their creativity and artistic skills, trainees
participated with enthusiasm and created vibrant rangoli designs using
coloured powders. The corridors, classrooms, and the main assembly
area were decorated beautifully to set a festive ambience. The
programme further proceeded with lighting diya and Laxmi Pujan.
Trainees performed a beautiful dance on this occasion which was
undoubtedly a treat to everyone‟s eyes. The chief guests of the
function, Shri I.P Aggarwal (chairman, Triveni educational and social
welfare society), Mrs Kanta Aggarwal (Manager, R.K.T.T.I.) and Dr.
S.K Bhatia (Chairman, R.K.T.T.I.) were greeted with sweets. The
Principal Ma‟am Mrs. Seema Sehgal gave an energetic speech on
benefit of eco-friendly Diwali and she advised not to pollute the
environment for the sake of enjoyment. Lastly, she gave her blessings
to all the trainees. The programme came to an end with the distribution
of snacks/ prasada to all the trainees and the staff members. The
Diwali celebration function was undoubtedly cherished as a
memorable and uplifting experience by all the trainees.
PICNIC TO RANGMACH FARMS
R.K.T.T.I. Organized a “learning outside classroom” picnic on
6 th JANUARY 2023, to Rangmanch farms, a place full of
adventure, learning and fun amid the rolling green farm lands
in the Haryana for all R.K.T.T.I. students. They welcomed the
students upon reaching the place; the students witnessed a
very serene place with delicious rural food. There were
numerous activities like zip cycling, zip line, camel ride,
tractor, bull ride, rock climbing, commando net and so on.
There were several hands on experiences like pottery, mud lep,
grinding grains, making butter and projects that trainees
enjoyed such as agriculture, vegetable cultivation, dairy
farming, etc. After enjoying the activities, the students headed
for the lunch which was in the form of buffet, tea, snacks,
jalebi and many other such snacks were available throughout.
Many of the students got attracted to the rural market which
had haat for bangles, colorful footwear & handicraft products.
After having lunch, all the trainees moved their legs on the
beat of Bollywood songs and it was a never ending fun and
trainees got acquainted with a pure ambience like that of a
village and got a break from the hustle of daily life.
Freshers’ Party
Fresher's party is an important event organized by R.K.T.T.I
every year in order to welcome the freshers to the new
atmosphere. It's not just an event but a medium to strengthen the
bond of love and friendship between juniors and their seniors. A
number of games and dance performances were presented with
full enthusiasm in jubilant mood by senior trainees. The
freshers‟ party was held on 11th January 2022. The programme
of fresher's party started with a ramp walk in which the
participants of miss fresher's 2022 participated. The trainees
participated in various rounds such as talent show, prop round,
question answer round which were judged by Mrs Tusharika
and Mrs Harpreet Kaur(faculty members of R.K.S.). At the end,
judges appreciated the efforts of all the trainees and announced
the names of the winners.

LOHRI CELEBRATION
Lohri marks the charm of winter festival, celebrated all over the India
on 13 th January 2023, a day before a holy festival (Makar Sankaranti)
The chief guests were Mrs. Kanta Aggarwal (Director, R.K.T.T.I.) ,
Sh. I.P Aggarwal (Chairman , Triveni Educational and Social Welfare
Society ) , Dr S.K. Bhatia( Chairman ,R.K.T.T.I ), Mrs. Seema Sehgal
( Principal , R.K.T.T.I) , Dr Mamta Aggarwal( Principal , R.K.S ) were
present during the whole celebration and blessed all the trainees.
The whole supported staff of R.K.T.T.I was a part of celebration and
the trainees of all the four classes i.e D.EL.ED 1 st & 2 nd year and
D.P.S.E 1 st & 2 nd year. They presented their performances, all the
trainees celebrated the function of lohri by presenting a beautiful
dance performances on Punjabi songs and sayings after the dance, the
bonfire was lightened up by all the chief guests. At the end, the Prasad
of popcorns, rewari and nuts were distributed by the teachers and
everyone had a lunch at the end.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
On the auspicious morning of 26 th January, 2023. Ramakrishna
Teachers Training Institute celebrated the 74 th Republic Day with
gaiety and patriotic fervor. On this occasion, the trainees extended a
warm welcome to all the distinguished guests for „Flag Hoisting
Ceremony‟. The guests were Mr I.P Aggarwal (chairman, triveni
educational and social welfare society), Mrs Kanta Aggarwal
(Manager, R.K.T.T.I.), Dr. S.K Bhatia (chairman, R.K.T.T.I. ) and Mrs
Seema Sehgal ( Principal, R.K.T.T.I.) for this special day, our institute
planned number of fascinating programs like singing patriotic songs,
dance performances and patriotic plays that won the hearts of the
guests. The trainees performed with the full dedication and
transformed the playground into mini Rajpath depicting their feelings
of patriotism towards nation. The trainees successfully exhibited their
love and pride for the nation. It was seen in their performances and
hard work that they are sovereign, democratic and republic citizen.
At the end, chairman Mr. I.P Aggarwal with his inspiring words

PICNIC TO ADVENTURE ISLAND
Trips and excursions are meticulously planned to add fun and
enthusiasm in student‟s busy life. These trips give a much
needed break from the hectic daily schedule and an
opportunity for the facilitators and for trainees to relieve
stress. The R.K.T.T.I organized trip to Adventure Island on
10 TH February 2023. It is an amusement and theme park in
New Delhi, which have lots of fabulous rides. The trainees
enjoyed themselves on the route to Adventure Island. On
reaching the picnic spot trainees were welcomed by brilliant
mad show which included magic, aerobics and magnificent
dance show. Other than this there were also a life stunt show
in Bollywood style. Trainees enjoyed the sites of numerous
swings and rides. The park also had water rides such as the
splash dunk, seahorse, 360 degree and the rain dance. The
trainees boarded the bus at 3:30 p.m. sharp, though they
wanted to spend some more time at the spot but had to leave
with the everlasting memory. It was a very memorable event
for everyone. Every member of R.K.T.T.I. enjoyed it a lot.
The Alumni Reunion and Farwell Party 2023
Ramakrishna Teacher Training Institute organized “Reminiscence”
alumni reunion meet and farewell party on 26 th February 2023, in
the Auditorium of MERI (Management Education & Research
Institute), Janakpuri. It was a grand trio celebration of alumni meet,
farewell party and title ceremony, where trainees of both D.EL.ED
& D.P.S.E 1 st year bid farewell to the outgoing trainees of D.EL.ED
& D.P.S.E 2 nd year with great enthusiasm. The chief guests were
Mr. I.P Aggarwal (Chairman, Triveni Educational and Social
Welfare Society) he is a man of words whose actions speak louder
than words. Dr. S.K Bhatia (Chairman, R.K.T.T.I.) ,Mrs. Kanta
Aggarwal (Manager, R.K.T.T.I.), Mr. Lalit Aggarwal (Vice
President, MERI Group of Institutions) , Mrs. Seema Sehgal
(Principal, R.K.T.T.I.), Dr. Mamta Aggarwal (Principal, R.K.S.) and
Mr. S.K Aggarwal (CFO, MERI Group of Institutions ) the occasion
was graced by aluminite ranging across various pass out batches of
both D.EL.Ed & D.P.S.E. All the dignitaries and Alumni were
felicitated with floral welcome.
The programme proceeded with the lightning of lamp by
distinguished chief guests. With their memorable performances, the
trainees welcomed the visitors and Alumni. The event was
strengthened by the „Navarasa‟ theme. „Navarasa‟ „the nine
emotions‟, (Shringara, Hasya, Karuna, Raudra, Veera, Bhayanka,
Vibhatsa, Adbhuta, Shanta Rasa). Other events which spread
sparkling light to the “Reminiscence” were Punjabi Bhangra and
power of Shiva „Shiv-stuti‟.Particiapants were in attractive
costumes at their impressive best on the stage to showcase their
talent.
Our Principal Mrs. Seema Sehgal, extended her heartiest
greetings to all the trainees on the occasion and encouraged the
trainees to put forward their best in life & graced the gathering
with her compassionate words. She welcomed all the guests
and also highlighted the achievements of the institution over
the past 33 years. Later, Alumni & Trainees were honored with
certificates for their achievements and Titles were also given to
the trainees like (Miss Fresher, Miss Beautiful eyes, Miss
confident, Miss Beautiful smile etc.) Honourable chief guests
Mr I.P Aggarwal showered his blessings with his words of
wisdom and his constructive advice, he motivated all the
trainees with his speech and Dr. S.K. Bhatia also blessed the
alumni and pupil teachers‟ with his courageous and motivated
words. Light refreshment and buffet lunch was also served to
the trainees. The grand event of Reminiscence” „alumni
reunion meet‟ ended with a refreshing experience and with zeal
of organizing such events every year with the same enthusiasm.
GLIMPSE OF ACTIVITIES
WORK SHOP ON
New Education Policy-2020
R.K.T.T.I organized a workshop on NEP-2020 on 1 st March 2023. It
was conducted under the guidance of Dr.S.K Bhatia (chairman,
R.K.T.T.I.) & Mrs. Seema Sehgal (.Principal, R.K.T.T.I.). Dhavni
from D.EL.ED 1 st year , delivered a welcome speech to greet the
chairman and the session was commenced with the introduction
NEP-2020. The eminent resource person Dr.S.K. Bhatia, enlightened
the trainee teachers with scope and importance of New Education
Policy-2020 in dealing with modern inquisitive learners and he also
elaborated the four stages of NEP-2020.

i.e foundational , Preparatory , Middle and Secondary stage . The NEP-
2020 envisions to bring about significant reforms in higher education
to cater to the changing landscape of knowledge and create global
standards of education. The chairman also urged the faculty of the
institute to give wholehearted support in transforming the dreams of
academic excellence into reality. The focus of the workshop was to
create passion, dynamism and multi-tasking approach among the
learners. He also encouraged the teachers to accept challenges boldly
and create conducive and congenial atmosphere in their classrooms to
motivate learners to excel in academics. The workshop inspired each
and everyone who attended the workshop, it was a grand success and
applauded by one and all.
WORKSHOP ON
THE SCHOOL IS STUDENT’S SECOND HOME
Ramakrishna teacher training institute organized a workshop on “The
school is student‟s second home ” on 4 th March 2023, it was
conducted under the guidance of Dr. C.K Saluja ( educator and
scholar ) he explained that schools have always been called a second
home for many reasons, one being we get all our learning from our
educational institutes including the learning of discipline, manners
and skills and students also learns to know, learns to do , learns to
live together and learn to be responsible citizens . For the students to
learn independently, the instructor serves as a facilitator in the
classroom by synthesizing the material provided by the teacher, she
also increases her level of topic knowledge. He suggested that
teachers should make their classroom interesting by providing
innovative teaching learning experiences to the students.
The highlight and an emphasis of the workshop was to motivate
teachers to use innovative teaching methods in her classroom like
activities, experience based learning to make the classroom interesting
for students. Overall, it was highly interactive and application based
workshop.
WORKSHOP ON
Optimizing Students’ Achievement
R.K.T.T.I organized, workshop on “ Optimizing Students‟
Achievement” on 4 th March 2023, It was conducted in the
guidance of Dr. S.K Bhatia (chairman, R.K.T.T.I.) The
predominance of the workshop was to innovate and inculcate
positivity among trainees to make optimum use of their
potential in order to excel in academics, use of technology in
teaching and learning, new and alternative sources of trainees
support and funding, better use of community resources. The
highlight and emphasis of the workshop was to help trainees
to integrate new knowledge with prior knowledge, enabling
trainees to organize knowledge components in relation to
each other, thus promoting retrieval. In order to get positive
results , the approach should be cohesive and collaborative.
Dr. S.K. Bhatia also urged the faculty of the institute to give
wholehearted support in transforming the dreams of
academic excellence into reality. The focus of the workshop
was to create dynamism, passion and industrious approach
among learners. The workshop was lively and spirited.
WORKHOP ON
The Right Perspective of Diary Writing
Ramakrishna teacher training institute organized a workshop on the
“The Right perspective of diary writing” on 26 th March 2023, it was
conducted under the guidance of Dr. S.K. Bhatia (Chairman,
R.K.T.T.I.). He explained that how teachers should maintain their
diary, in which they should keep in mind the objectives of teaching
& learning, and he also suggested that a teacher‟s diary should be
according to bloom‟s taxonomy.
The workshop focused on analysis, synthesis and evaluation part, where
analysis refers to draw a connection among ideas, it is based on how to
differentiate, organize and relate learning situations , whereas synthesis
refers to a combination of facts, ideas or information to make a new
whole and lastly evaluate, means justify a stand or decision it is based
on appraise, argue and support.
He explained that a teacher should provide new situations to the
students in the classroom so that they could experience or learn by
doing things.
The workshop was inspiring for each and everyone who attended the
workshop.
WORKSHOP ON
Promoting Patriotism and Happiness in students
R.K.T.T.I. Organized a workshop on “Promoting Patriotism
and Happiness in students” on 31 st March 2023, by Dr. Nahar
Singh (Joint director of SCERT) in order to emphasize the
role of happiness in an individual‟s life. It focused on the
importance of happiness in everyone‟s life, happiness is more
than the absence of sadness, experiencing happiness is
important for our emotional and physical health. During the
workshop he promoted the fact that inner satisfaction can be
achieved only by the way of happiness & not through
monetary terms and materialistic world. Efforts were made in
ordered to inculcate the moral values and patriotism among
the students, Patriotism is very important.
It is the feeling of love and respect for one‟s country and a
sense of comradeship with its citizens. It is the attachment to
one‟s land –its cultural, historical, social and political
aspects. The feeling must especially be born in the youth of
the country so they act as responsible citizens. Youth is the
future of the nation and for the bright future of the country it
is important for them to protect and preserve the nation and
act in its best interest to make it outshine, and he also
encouraged the students to participate in patriotic activities.
The workshop was considered to be very fruitful for the
teachers as well as for the trainees.
WORKSHOP ON
Education beyond books
Ramakrishna Teacher Training Institute organized a
workshop on “Education beyond books” on 16 th April 2023
the prominent speaker of the workshop was Dr. Prabhat
kaushik (Master Trainer, CBSE, Ministry of HRD,
Government of India), he explained that moving beyond
textbook means adopting a new way of thinking about
learning materials, they integrate the best ways , peer group ,
family , multimedia, group activities, community resources
and interactive elements that enable practice and immediate
feedback . It also means thinking beyond content to deliver
information. As an educational tool that can promote new
forms of pedagogy that involve trainees as participants. The
workshop also focused on mothers as a supervisor, teachers
as social reformers and he suggested behavior management
for parents as they have immense impact on students\
children. Teachers should provide directions to pupils and
motivate them for peer or collaborative learning.
Overall, it was a highly interactive and application based
workshop.
