Join us as we kick-off the International Elastomer Conference with a short welcome from our
Chair followed by the Keynote Address.
Keynote Speaker:
Frank A. Davis; President & CEO of The Horizon Group Of Companies
Frank Davis is President & Chief Executive Officer of the Horizon Group of Companies
headquartered in Birmingham Alabama, one of the largest diversity owned businesses in
Alabama, and CIBIC Incorporated, a continuous improvement focused management consulting
and training business. During his twenty plus-year tenure as a President & CEO, Frank has led
both Horizon and CIBIC to high levels of success; leading Horizon from a zero-revenue startup
to a well-recognized historical nine figure provider of process, project and material services
to the automotive, utility, institutional, federal, and state business segments and turning CIBIC
into an up and coming thought leader in continuous improvement. Frank’s academic credentials
include a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Bucknell University with
distinction, a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama
at Birmingham, along with an Executive Program Certificate from the Tuck School of Business at
Dartmouth.

Businesses, institutions and their rising professionals and managers are being increasingly challenged by our ever-evolving world:

and other human intelligence substitutes as a solution, but our declining societal IQ trends are beginning to paint a different
picture. While the pursuit of excellence remains the goal for most and the road to the American Dream for many, that excellence
is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve and maintain for a number of reasons. While our professional skill sets generally aid
us in our quest to succeed, those skill sets can be rendered ineffective, inefficient or improper when paired with faulty or flawed

pursuit of excellence for themselves and those who they touch in a new and exciting way.
