T H E H O L Y S P I R I T E N S U R E S T H A T W E A R E N O T<br />
O R P H A N S .<br />
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask <strong>the</strong> Fa<strong>the</strong>r, and he will give you<br />
ano<strong>the</strong>r advocate to help you and be <strong>with</strong> you forever— <strong>the</strong> Spirit <strong>of</strong> truth. The world<br />
cannot accept him, because it nei<strong>the</strong>r sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for<br />
he lives <strong>with</strong> you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.<br />
Before long, <strong>the</strong> world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live,<br />
you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Fa<strong>the</strong>r, and you are in<br />
me, and I am in you.<br />

Our world may at times seem very chaotic. It may seem to us that God has no interest<br />
in <strong>the</strong> affairs <strong>of</strong> this planet and humanity. Some say He is an absentee God and Fa<strong>the</strong>r.<br />
Perhaps even your own life and family may go through a difficult time at <strong>the</strong> moment.<br />
Perhaps you may be enjoying a season <strong>of</strong> great blessing, favour and success. Our<br />
precious Savior gave us God <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit so that we may never feel abandoned as<br />
orphans. Know that as a loving parent <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit is <strong>with</strong>in you so that you can<br />
share every aspect <strong>of</strong> your life <strong>with</strong> Him. Share <strong>the</strong> joys and <strong>the</strong> pains. God is very<br />
much and intimately involved in <strong>the</strong> affairs <strong>of</strong> this world and your personal life. If only<br />
we would harken His voice and influence and guidance.<br />
An orphan is deprived <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> most essential relationship - that <strong>of</strong> a loving parent. Don't<br />
ever feel that you are alone. Your parent <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit is <strong>with</strong>in you. He will comfort<br />
you through every difficulty and every challenge. He will celebrate every victory and<br />
success <strong>with</strong> you. He is your emotional support. He is your <strong>spirit</strong>ual support. Your<br />
psychological support.<br />
He is <strong>the</strong>re for your marriage, your family, your work and business, even for your<br />
failures, losses and your celebrations. You have a loving parent in <strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit who is<br />
<strong>with</strong>in you and who will never leave you. You are not an orphan. You do not have to<br />
battle through your life and <strong>the</strong> issues you are dealing <strong>with</strong> alone. Call on Him and
