Laura works on her technical weaving
and sewing projects in two and three
dimensions. There is a personal search
by the artist to create works where she
can experiment with simple materials,
such as common sewing thread or
jute plant fiber. Her themes arise from
reflections on experiences that are as
personal as they are universal, due to
their humanity.
