La Regata Storica.
E’ il più scenografico spettacolo sull’acqua di Venezia e, in pratica, l’appuntamento
clou delle tradizione veneziana.
In programma come sempre la prima domenica del mese (3 settembre) si
sviluppa lungo l’incomparabile scenario del Canal Grande su due fasi: la prima,
composta da un corteo storico in costume che rievoca l’accoglienza riservata
nel 1489 a Caterina Cornaro, sposa del Re di Cipro; la seconda, da una
serie di accese sfide su imbarcazioni tipiche da regata.
La manifestazione, che si svolgerà nel pomeriggio, sarà visibile a tutti lungo il
percorso, da ponti e rive.

del Vetro, altro elemento primario
della vita della città.
Da sabato 9 a domenica 17 settembre
l’attenzione sarà puntata su
La Settimana veneziana del Vetro,
una manifestazione nata nel 2017
per celebrare, supportare e promuovere
l’arte del vetro, l’attività
artistica ed economica per la quale
Venezia è conosciuta nel mondo da
più di mille anni.
Un programma di oltre duecento
eventi offrirà nel periodo la straordinaria
opportunità per conoscere
e approfondire questa materia che
a Venezia viene considerata come
una vera e propria arte.
Tra le novità di questa edizione il ritorno
di The Floating Furnace, una
fornace galleggiante che offrirà la possibilità di assistere gratuitamente a dimostrazioni
di lavorazione del vetro affacciati sul Canal Grande.
Il Premio Campiello di Letteratura.
E’ un altro dei grandi emblemi di Venezia. Riconosciuto come uno dei massimi
riconoscimenti italiani nel campo della letteratura giunge quest’anno alla
sua sessantunesima edizione.
Istituito nel 1962 dagli Industriali del Veneto, promosso e gestito dalla Fondazione
Il Campiello, composta dalle Associazioni Industriali del Veneto, si presenterà
sabato 16 settembre per la sua serata finale (esclusivamente ad invito).
Nell’occasione, la Giuria dei Trecento lettori proclamerà tra la cinquina finalista,
il romanzo vincitore. Walter Veltroni rappresenterà la Giuria dei Letterati.
Il Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano.
Rappresenta nell’ambito delle grandi esposizioni, la novità assoluta del panorama
veneziano.
Dal 28 settembre al primo ottobre porterà in scena in due padiglioni dell’antico
Arsenale, le Tese delle Nappe e di San Cristoforo, il meglio della produzione
artigianale italiana.
Qui si potrà scoprire l’Italia delle eccellenze artigianali con produzioni che andranno
dalla ceramica ai tessuti pregiati, dalle opere in vetro soffiato ai gioielli,
dagli elementi di arredo agli accessori, dall’illuminazione alla lavorazione dei
metalli e delle pietre, dall’oggettistica all’intarsio del legno, fino alle arti del
restauro, della sartoria e della scultura. D.R.
