Alumni News Alumni on the Move Robert Devita (BBA ’71, MBA ’73) has taken on a new position as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Offi cer at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. He has previously employed with Ministry Health Care. Wheaton Franciscan is a not-for-profi t organization and one of the largest integrated regional health care delivery systems in Wisconsin. Norbert Kurth (BBA-Accounting ’77) was hired at MJ Care, Inc. as Corporate Controller. MJ Care, Inc. is a Milwaukee-based professional healthcare services company providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology since 1977. Bruce Kolb (BBA-Management ’78) has taken on a new position as Chief Financial Offi cer and Chief Operating Offi cer with MasterLink, CableMaster, and Suiters Disctinctive Clothiers, based in Menomonee Falls. Bruce has 20 years of business experience. …1956…1957…1958…1959…1960…1961…1962…1963…1964…1965 A Note to our pre-1966 Alumni! While we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our establishment as a business school this year, UWM has an even longer history of business education — and a wonderful group of alumni to prove it! After publishing the “retrospective” of our past 40 years in the last issue of Outlook, we heard from a few pre-1966 alumni who wanted us to know how proud they are of the business education they received at UWM and the contributions they have made to Milwaukee and Wisconsin. “Congratulations on turning 40 — but I consider you much older!” said one 1960 alum. 24 OUTLOOK Gregory Gorlinski (BBA-Finance ’87) was promoted to Managing Director at Cleary Gull Inc. in Milwaukee. Cleary Gull is an independent fi rm offering investment advisory and investment banking services. David W. Sladsky (MBA ’87) recently joined HellermanTyton Inc. as Director of Finance for North America. Hellermann- Tyton is a global manufacturer of network cabling, cable management, and identifi cation solutions that has its North American headquarters in Milwaukee. Christopher Zuzick (BBA- Marketing ‘89) was hired as Managing Director at Cornerstone Business Services. He is a member of the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. William Kadrich (BBA-Finance ‘89) joined Marine Bank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender for the bank’s Wauwatosa offi ce. He has more than 10 years of experience in commercial lending. Cheryl Kruschke (BBA-Industrial Relations ’90), Manager of Education and Quality Assurance at Wheat Franciscan Healthcare, Marian Franciscan Center, has earned her PhD in Education from Cardinal Stritch University (December 2006). Her dissertation topic was “Does the Eden Alternative Improve Resident Outcomes in a Long Term Care Setting?” Terri Behling (MS-Taxation ’94) has been promoted to Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche USA L.L.P. in the Milwaukee offi ce. Michael Psuik (BBA-Accounting ’96) was promoted to Principal in the Tax Department at Vrakas/Blum S.C. Michael has been with the fi rm, which offers business consulting and compliance services, since 1997. Gina Bontempo (BBA-Finance ’97) was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Underwriting at Maritime Savings Bank in West Allis. Donald W. Krueger (BBA-Accounting ’65) wrote to share another perspective on the campus environment in the late 60s: “I want to remind you that thousands of students participated in ROTC during those years, remember the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Berlin Wall, and the Cold War. Hundreds received commissions as Army offi cers and served their country during those turbulent times… Your paragraph simply didn’t go far enough in painting a picture of that time in UWM’s history.” Thank you for your comments and for sharing your pride in your alma mater!

Eric Oechsner (MBA’00) was promoted to Manager at Schenck Business Solutions in West Allis. Eric joined the company two years ago. Kristin Baldini (MS-International Business ’01), has been named Senior Global Treasury Analyst at Rockwell Automation’s Milwaukee headquarters. Chad Kenny (BBA-Marketing ’04) was hired by the Milwaukee Mile as a Marketing Manager. Nicole Fuerst (BBA-Finance ’04) has taken a new position as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Commercial Lending at Ridgestone Bank in Brookfi eld. Stacey Hamilton (BBA-Accounting ’04) was promoted to Senior Accountant at Komisar Brady & Co. L.L.P. She joined Komisar Brady in 2004.
