Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes?
Take a workshop with our technical manger and
discover how we achieve the magic on stage!
South Mill Arts is very much a community venue,
and so we’re happy to announce that we will be
looking to run some technical theatre workshops
for members of the public and local groups as a
way to give back to the local community. These
workshops will serve as an accessible way for
people to get some hands-on experience in
learning about the different departments involved
within technical theatre, such as lighting, sound
and stage management, with no previous theatre
experience required.

Our Timeless Tuesday screenings provide a
welcoming and supportive environment within
which to enjoy these classic handpicked films on
the big screen.
Key features include: more lighting, no adverts, a
15 minute interval. Moving around and noise is
also acceptable.Ticket price includes a free hot
drink and biscuits too!

André Rieu will again stage his glorious annual
summer event in the iconic Vrijthof Square this
year. The concert will be a musical feast with
heart-warming pieces lovingly chosen by André,
covering classics, popular sing-alongs, and delightful
