Our passion: we love letting light live.
Over the past years, our homes have become more
important. We’re spending more time at home and
we’re looking at our homes differently. Our perspective
at Somfy is linked to our passion: to let living light into
your home.

Our window fashion collection is inspired by animism,
the philosophy that matter is not dead but alive and
breathing, and imbued with powerful features. Ancient
materials in the natural world have a permanent quality.
For the simple reason that we can reuse them again and
again. Doing that respectfully lets us keep them alive.
That’s exactly how this collection came about, in all
its aspects and down to the smallest details. From the
fabrics’ production to their functionality: fair materials,
natural hues and a mix of rough and delicate structures.

The position of the sun. Shifting clouds.
The transition from day to night. Light is as
changeable as a flock of birds and as restless
as an animal hunting for food. So we need a
system capable of continuous adaptation if
we are to control daylight efficiently.
This has inspired us to power our products

There are two models.
Standard and zebra roller blinds. Just like the
moon reflects sunlight to the Earth, our zebra
roller blinds create an enchanting play of light
and shade in your home’s interior. The roller blinds
are made of two layers of material: a sheer layer
and a semi-blackout layer. Together they provide
a most pleasant ambiance.

Our honeycomb pleated blinds are
available in a Top-Down Bottom-Up
or Bottom-Up system. Our Top-Down
Bottom-Up system allows you to
determine the degree of privacy and
light: open the top or move the bottom
bar up or down. With a Bottom-Up system
- like the name already explains - the
bottom bar can be moved up and down
while the top bar always remains fixed.

be tilted to control the amount of
natural light and privacy in a room.
Our wood. Unbendable quality.
Our wood is sourced from
responsibly managed forests and is
FSC-certified. Even after it is logged,
wood remains a living product that
interacts with the space where it is
being used. That’s because wood
contains moisture and in a dry
room that will inevitably lead to it
shrinking. So it is treated before it
is processed: drying the wood first
means that the slats won’t bend
and will stay nice and straight.

Our aluminium is made from 98%
recycled material and manufactured
to the highest quality standards.
Because of the thick sturdy slats,
they can take a beating. The slats
have a so-called ‘bounce back
feature’: after bending the slat,
it returns to its original shape.

also super-simple to operate. They can
be operated with a remote control,
smartphone or your voice.

Our remote controls make life easy and
give you control over no less than five
separate blinds or curtains. Our special
‘my’ button makes it even easier. This
allows you to save the favourite position
of your curtains and then operate them
at the touch of a button and because
every season brings a different amount of
light, you can easily change the settings.

Wall control.
Afraid of losing your remote control? Or
that the kids think it’s a fun toy? Then a
wall control is a good solution. Wireless,
easy to place out of the reach of children
and always in a colour that matches your

Just use the TaHoma app to close your
shading device and you will come
home to a deliciously cool house.

Programming the ambience.
Smart Home lets you create so-called
scenarios. With these scenarios you can
activate multiple smart products by just
pressing the button once. A ‘Netflix
scenario’ for instance, will close the curtains,
dim the lights and switch the heating in
the living room on at 21 degrees. The ideal
ambience for watching a film or series.
There’s just one thing left you’ll need to
organise – your popcorn!

How do I tell my home?
A home with listening skills is not a concept
for a distant future. Using the TaHoma switch
and Google Assistant you can give voice
commands. Say for instance: “Ok Google,
curtains of living room open” and your curtains
will follow suit. But it gets even better. Imagine
you are cooking and your guests arrive earlier
than expected, all you need to do is ask your
voice control to “Start the ‘Evening for the
living room’ scenario,” and dimmed lights
will go on and the roller blinds will go down
halfway, immediately creating a delightful
ambience for your guests.
