In B<strong>at</strong>tle Creek Public Schools!<br />

B<strong>at</strong>tle Creek Public Schools (<strong>BCPS</strong>)<br />

is a district in Southwest Michigan<br />

serving nearly 4,000 students from<br />

pre-K through 12th grade.<br />

In 2017, we unveiled a five-year plan to achieve success<br />

for every <strong>BCPS</strong> student, with support from a historic<br />

$51 million grant from the W.K. Kellogg<br />

Found<strong>at</strong>ion. Since then, we’ve launched new schools<br />

and academic programs, built strong community<br />

partnerships, rolled out individualized support for students,<br />

and invested more resources than ever before into our staff.<br />

of 2023, we raised salaries for all teachers — including starting salaries — by an average of more than $10,000!<br />

<strong>BCPS</strong> teacher salaries now begin <strong>at</strong> $50,000 and go up to $82,000, depending on educ<strong>at</strong>ion and<br />

experience, placing <strong>BCPS</strong> among the highest paying school districts in Southwest Michigan for teachers. In addition<br />

to gre<strong>at</strong> pay, we offer several opportunities for additional compens<strong>at</strong>ion, meaning your total compens<strong>at</strong>ion can<br />

go far beyond your base salary.<br />
