Sara is almost 2 years old
2 ears<br />
2 arms<br />
2 legs<br />
2 eyes<br />
2 hands<br />
2 feet<br />
2 is a very important number. That’s why we have<br />
2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 hands, 2 feet and<br />
even 2 nostrils.
One day, Mummy and Daddy, the 2 of them, tell Sara that<br />
she is going to become a big sister.
Mummy only has one belly, but inside, there is<br />
not only one baby but 2.<br />
Everyone opens their mouths wide when they<br />
hear about it and ask:<br />
Are you really having 2?
Mummy’s baby bump is huge, but they won’t fit<br />
in there, for sure!<br />
The doctors decide to take them out even though<br />
they are still a couple of months away from birth.<br />
A couple is also 2.
The sisters are called Elena and Mar.<br />
They are really small. Together, they do<br />
not weigh much at all. Only 2.<br />

Mummy and Daddy have gone to the hospital. The sisters need<br />
to be taken care of.<br />
Meanwhile, Sara stays with her grandparents. They are also 2.
One day, soon before Sara’s birthday, Mummy and<br />
Daddy finally return home!<br />
There is a cot in the middle of the living room. Only<br />
one? Sara stands on tiptoes and peeps inside. There<br />
they are: the sisters.<br />
The 2 of them.
Sara looks at them.<br />
They are really small, but still, nothing is missing: they<br />
have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 hands, 2 feet and<br />
even 2 nostrils.
Sara smiles. Now there are 5 at home:<br />
daddy, mummy, her and the other 2.<br />
This is so important!<br />
Let the fun begin!
