George grew up in a small town
with a strong Catholic community.
After graduating from high school, he
moved to Regina and enrolled in Campion
College and began dating Louise from
Montmartre. George spent every weekend
with Louise. They got married in 1984. In
1991, George and Louise had a profound
conversion of heart and made a personal
commitment to Jesus Christ. “Our love
for God just expanded dramatically. We
understood intimately just how loving
God is. That personal commitment to
Christ changed everything, including our
love for the Catholic faith”. Since then
George has spent his time volunteering
within the Catholic church in the fields of
evangelization, apologetics, service, and
development. After retirement, George
began working for Catholic Christian
Outreach, then, as Executive Director of
NET Ministries Canada, and most recently,
Interim Director of Development for the
Archdiocese of Regina. Throughout it all,
George has never lost the desire to share his
joy for the love of Jesus with anyone God
chooses to place in his life.
Linda has a diverse career and volunteer
history, but always maintains a passion
for education and improving her community.
She graduated from Campion College with
a BA Visual Arts, and then a Bachelor of
Commerce from the University of Alberta,
and a MA. Edu from the University of
Regina. Through collaborative partnerships,
Linda has devoted her career to improving
educational outcomes. Projects have included;
strategic planning for technology integration
and implementation; distributed learning,
adult basic education, and literacy; and
educational options for labour and skill
shortages. Linda is dedicated to Campion
and has been a part of the Student Council,
the 75th and 100th Anniversary Celebration
Committees, and the Board of Regents.
She enjoys giving back to her community,
volunteering with several other organizations,
including the Saskatchewan Science Centre,
SaskCulture, and the University of Regina
Alumni Association. Linda values the
Campion community's Vision, Mission,
and Values, which focus on forming people
for others through the development of the
whole person.
Exemplary athlete, teacher and coach,
Frank leads by example to motivate
students, athletes, and others in our
community to strive for the Magis in their lives.
Frank played on three National Champion Rams
teams in the early 70’s. After five years as an
assistant coach on the Rams, Frank was named
head coach in 1984. Leading the team to seven
Canadian Junior Football Championships,
Frank received the Canadian Junior Football
Coach of the Year award twice. Frank is an
honoured member of the Saskatchewan Sports
Hall of Fame and the Regina Sports Hall of
Fame. Giving back to the community is also
a passion for Frank as he has devoted much
of his time assisting amateur programs in
the city and around the province as a guest
speaker, clinician, and counselor to young
athletes looking to move on to university.
Leading by example Frank also encouraged
his coaching staff to volunteer as well. Many
of his players (and students) have gone on to
excel as professional athletes in the CFL and
NFL. There are many more who credit their
success in business, education, and professional
communities in Regina and beyond to the
valuable lessons learned from Frank.
Rooted in the Jesuit and Catholic traditions
of education, Campion offers all students
the opportunity to pursue their dreams in an

founded in 1917, driving our mission to develop
the whole person – intellectually, spiritually,
and socially – for service within society.
Campion College is proud to be a member of
the Alpha Sigma Nu, the international honour
society for Jesuit institutions for higher
learning. The society inducts as members
students, alumni and associates of Jesuit
institutions who distinguish themselves by
their scholarship and leadership in loyalty and
service to their institutions and community.
This year's Alumni of Distinction Award
recipients will be inducted as members of Alpha
Sigma Nu this fall. All are welcomed to attend.
