Cameron Road allotments

Berkhampstead Field Community Meadow off Vale Road –

a 2 hectare field and designated Local Wildlife Site.

Managed in partnership as a chalk grassland habitat with

the Chesham & District Natural History Society

Co-op Field sloping 4 acre field near Asheridge Road,

including a play area

Lowndes Park off St Mary’s Way, HP5 1HU. 36 acre park

including a children’s play area, skatepark and multicourt.

Free open air concerts take place on Sunday afternoons in

July and August

Meades Water Gardens off Red Lion Street. A 3 acre

recreational area with a restored stretch of the River Chess

chalk stream habitat

The Moor off Moor Road, HP5 1SA. 17 acre stretch of

common land along the River Chess. Includes a play area,

football pitches, outdoor pool and recreation centre

Nashleigh Hill Recreation Ground off Nashleigh Hill,

HP5 3JF. Includes informal football area and play area

Theatres & Theatre Groups

patrons for standing concerts. Presents a varied programme

of professional opera, ballet, pantomime and theatre

productions by a variety of local amateur dramatic

companies. Music includes classical and rock concerts, folk

to Café Encore. The Box Office is open 10am to 3pm
