Community Events
Each year Chesham Town Council runs a program of
varied events for the benefit of the local community.
By working with our Town Partners and volunteer
groups we are able to host and promote events that are
intended to enhance the lives of our residents and
increase footfall to our shops, boosting the local
economy. This is part of our commitment to Chesham
as set out in our Strategic Aims (see page 7).
Here is a calendar of upcoming events from July
2023 – July 2024 which we very much hope you will
participate in, support and enjoy.

July 22nd 10-2pm: Local Produce Market with
Whitchurch Morris Dancers
July 23rd 2-4pm: Music in the Park in Lowndes Park
featuring My Town Choir and Choir On The Green
July 30th 2-4pm: Music in the Park in Lowndes Park
featuring Watford Brass Band
August 6th 2-4pm: Music in the Park in Lowndes
Park featuring Streetlights
August 13th 2-4pm: Music in the Park in Lowndes

November 12th 11am: Remembrance Day Service
at the War Memorial

December (date TBC) 8pm: Town Christmas Service
at St. Marys

The Local Produce Market is held in market square
and will continue in 2024 on the fourth Saturday of
each month.
